Ohio State's women's basketball team is going to the Big Dance, too.

The Buckeyes earned a No. 6 seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament and will play their first game on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on ESPNU, facing the winner of Thursday's First Four game between Missouri State and Florida State in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The Buckeyes are in the Spokane Region of the tournament and will play either No. 3 seed LSU or No. 14 seed Jackson State in the second round if they advance. Stanford is the No. 1 seed in Ohio State’s region.

Ohio State enters the NCAA Tournament with a 23-6 overall record after winning a share of the Big Ten regular season title and earning the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten Tournament.

The Buckeyes finished the regular season winning seven of their last eight games, but went 1-1 in the Big Ten Tournament, beating Michigan State in the quarterfinals before falling to Indiana in the semifinals.

Ohio State is led by All-Big Ten guards Jacy Sheldon and Taylor Mikesell, who average 19.5 and 18.8 points per game, respectively.
