OSU almost always does well in the B1G conference. They are the dominating team for many decades now in the conference. Unfortunately, they and the rest of the conference rarely get past the sweet 16. OSU has finished first in the conference 9 times in the last 16 years, there is not a single time OSU has advanced past the sweet 16. You have to go all the way back to 92/93 (OSU was NCAA Runner up) to see OSU past the sweet 16.

Has the women's tournament ever had First Four games before? At any rate, getting to play a team that had to play two days prior has to be a pretty big break.
Unfortunately they only have 2 wins of note and even though it was in December they have a loss to an 11-18 team. Guessing blowout losses to ttun and Indiana did not help their cause.
I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!
I love these ladies and this team but Kevin McGuff, like his colleague Chris Holtman, will find a way to blow the first game and be one and done in the tournament...

I had the same thought but missed your post. They were also conference co-champs and top 15 in the AP. #6 doesn't seem right.

Ohio State isn’t part of the top level of women’s basketball programs. They are good from time to time but gets exposed when playing elite teams.
They were last dominant in the tourney when Katie was still playing.
