Canberra and Region Visitor Information Centre

Whether it’s help with a last-minute accommodation deal, bookings for museums and galleries, or tips about cool new restaurants, the team at the Visitor Centre has you covered.

Co-located with the National Capital Exhibition at Regatta Point, the Visitor Information Centre also offers bike and e-scooter hire. Be sure to explore the shop full of local produce, handcrafted gifts, hampers and popular souvenirs.

Overlooking Lake Burley Griffin, the Captain Cook Memorial Jet and national attractions, enjoy the sweeping view from the centre as you browse everything from gin or local children’s books.

There is limited one-hour free parking, with designated free all-day parking available to park caravans, camper trailers, coaches and RVs. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

Bike hire

Want to experience scenic Lake Burley Griffin on two wheels? Hire a bike or e-scooter from the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre.

The Visitors Centre's folding Brompton bikes are lightweight and sturdy, making them an easy option for the leisure rider. Helmets, saddlebags, bike locks and lake maps are all included. Pre-booking and reserving bikes is unavailable as the hire operates on a first come, first serve basis.

E-scooter hire

Opt for an e-scooter to enjoy the views at an easy pace. Reaching up to 25 kilometres per hour, these motorised e-scooters are easy to balance and intuitive to use.

Helmets are included in the hire. Please remember to scoot responsibly.

Canberra Airport Visitor Information Booth

The Canberra Airport Visitor Information Booth will provide travellers arriving on domestic and international flights with a range of visitor information services. These include tour bookings and last-minute accommodation, maps, and advice about what to see and do.

Location and opening hours

The Information Booth will be staffed during peak flight arrival times and visitors will have access to digital touch screen information at other times.

The airport information booth is located on the ground floor of the terminal between the two baggage collection areas.
