E.J. Liddell embraced the boos he received in his home state of Illinois, where he dropped 21 points to help lead the Buckeyes to a 86-83 win on the road even though he was battling the flu, but he didn’t appreciate some of the more personal attacks he heard from Illini fans.

Ohio State’s home fans have been much kinder to the Buckeyes, though, and Chris Holtmann thanked them for all the support they’ve provided all year for his team, which actually has an even better record at the Schottenstein Center (12-1) than Holtmann said in his tweet.
