Well she’s got ten million weirdos following her then. I’m maybe half joking. But I would think a lot of that has to do with the “content” that she puts out there. I won’t pretend to guess how many of her followers are in it just for the sport of gymnastics. Probably not nearly as many as for her profile.

If he said it wasn’t one of his team’s best efforts, that is conceding that OSU had a lot to do with that. It’s not like they were in a lot of close games this year, or last year for that matter

Considering that 99.whatever% of all living things are now extinct no matter how much they adapt is not a good argument. Plus some of the longest surviving species the basically remain unchanged had the longest runs.

I like this post. It speaks to the fact that all life on the planet is finite. As are all of us. Let’s enjoy Buckeye game days  before we all go out like the T Rex

Maybe take a shot to the end zone?  they still had plenty of time and 2 timeouts.

Yep. I agree with your point. Take a shot downfield to the middle. You connect on even a 10 yarder at that puts you at the 22, a much easier FG attempt.

Was watching the second half of that game with the Monday nighter dealing with an on field emergency. Mitchell was just making nearly everything he put up. What a performance. Reminds me ofKobe going for 81 15 years ago. Awesome comeback win for Cleveland.

There is some truth to this. Developing players for two and three years is no longer an option for a team who is ready to win now. Sure it will always have an impact but coaches will have to be aggressive in the portal. Look at scUM. They are using it big time. Do they have better NIL up north? I honestly haven’t paid attention to their situation on NIL.

I thought that too. But look back three years ago and it was the SEC refs who fucked over the Buckeyes. It literally doesn’t matter what conference referees are doing the games. They have orders from up above. It would be ballsy for a ref to have an ounce of fortitude and call the games as they are actually meant to be called. For every shitty Pac12 ref, there’s another shitty one from the Big Ten or SEC or ACC to fill in the gaps. The whole profession of refereeing is in a tumultuous time, but you’d never know it because refs aren’t held accountable. And why should they be? They are doing what the powers that be want them to do. The NFL is just as egregious

Exactly this. I don’t think anyone outside of some unwise gamblers are gonna be pissed that Purdue is not good right now, or that Illinois lost to Mississippi State in a game THEY WEREN’T supposed to win anyways. How many B1G teams are even favored in the games? So when they lose, don’t complain how shitty they are. Vegas isn’t always right. But they are 90 percent of the time.  The Bucks covered when most experts didn’t even think UGA would have to play it’s starters in the second half. Do you see any B1G teams outside of OSU and Michigan and Penn State and maybe Wisky recruiting like the SEC? So why are you pissed off? The Car Care Bowl just means more in the SEC! LMAO

At this point the national championships seem out of reach for a variety of reasons. Injuries, shit secondary, refs, reversals on targeting calls. Our defensive line was legit against Georgia. Don’t let the narrative fool you. The DTs were getting home a bit as well. And Tuimoloau made some nice plays also. But Bennett is a slippery snake back there. Made some great throws when he had to. No trophies but there are 30 or 40 other schools who dump in the necessary resources to win a championship every year. I use that number because obviously there are 129 FBS programs but the overwhelming majority don’t give a flip about football. I usually don’t watch the games when the Buckeyes are out so I’ll probably not watch anything for the rest of the season. When people say you missed a great game, I’ll just say if the Bucks weren’t in it, it wasn’t a great game. Just don’t have the emotional investment much once OSU is done for the year. When I was younger every bowl game was must see tv. Those days are gone and they aren’t coming back

If he gets an NFL offer he will go. JMO. He’s tuned in to what he wants. That’s it. I think he is a very good coach but he may not relate to the youth as much as the coordinators and staff around him. But watching Michigan scramble for another coach would be hilarious.

The Buckeyes have been Charlie Browned many times over the years. That’s why 2002 and 2014 were so amazing. I’ve been following the Bucks since 1984 when Keith Byars and Mike Tomzcak playing on offense. I believe there was a nickname for Earle Bruce, 9-3 Earle. Have bad memories about Cooper and this run over the last 20 years has been great. I think there was at least two or three seasons in the last ten years (from Urban onward) where the Buckeyes could have added to the national championships but it’s just a monumental task with the elite SEC teams. Just going to always be an uphill climb. Go Bucks

I see you got DVs but it definitely was a difficult spot to put Ruggles in. I had the game on the radio so I didn’t see it live. Someone at a New Year’s Day brunch today mentioned to me that the holder muffed the snap. Can that be confirmed? I didn’t want to go back to it to watch it. I’m past this game already. The team played their asses off and the coaches did their best. I honestly didn’t think they keep it to within 10 points of Georgia but I’m glad I was wrong. What a game. Stroud absolutely proved the doubters wrong. I didn’t think he’d run as much as he did but I give credit where it’s due.

I think there are some serious issues with the offense and specially the offensive line. It’s been like that for two years now. I bet you DJU has a great season with the Beavers next year. Although the Pac12 is better than the ACC, they still have a lack of defenses out west.

It takes forever for Clemson to drive the field but that’s Tennessee who can’t stop the run. They are fortunate to be playing against a Freshman QB. And fuck Dumbo

Comment 30 Dec 2022

No I’m not. But at the same time, I’m really not concerned with that game either. If I’m being honest. OSU has its biggest game since 2020

Comment 30 Dec 2022

This is the most pressure Tennessee’s defense has brought all year. I don’t know if Clemson’s O-Line is that bad or if Tennessee is treating this like their Super Bowl

Comment 30 Dec 2022

As much as I can’t stand either of these teams. I bet my disdain for both is not nearly as bad as one has for the other and vice versa
