I could actually see another path where the schools start to self regulate through the conferences. Once the large programs and their conferences have had enough, I believe they will get together and try to regulate it in some fashion.

I find your generalization about boosters of other schools in smaller towns, patently false. Most of the boosters of Alabama do not live in Tuscaloosa they live in Birmingham, Atlanta, Nashville, etc. Most UGA boosters live in Atlanta and the ones spending a ton of money also have homes on sea island. They are not wanting for things to do for their cash. They are simply part of the Fanbase that cares a little more about winning and holds football in higher regard relative to the rest of the university.
As much as your grammar? ;)
So you’re Sayin there’s a chance!
I don’t see it. He was just awful against TCU. Head scratching in fact.
These are I owe yous and they are just as good as money.
Is ON3 more credible these days in their rankings or no?
As the season went on, the corner backs were far less of a problem, and safety is being in the wrong role
At what point does the administration tire of Harbaugh's constant restlessness? The Full Ride guys on ESPNU were speculating that they might tell him to move on...
Have you been drinking paint?
I'm sorry, this is just a bad take.
I also think it is possible that it was more of a retention move and the actual function of the staff may not change that much. They have always discussed that everyone had input into play calling etc...Once Frye completes his second year he may get co-coordinator status with Day giving up play calling. I seriously doubt he gives up play calling at this point...
Survey says…
Tommy is not an outside linebacker. Steele has a higher ceiling.
I think Wisconsin could actually do well, if their boosters would embrace it. They have a well-off rabbid fan base with one of the highest attendance marks on a year-by-year basis. My bigger concern is that the presidents will not allow us to move into an SEC style environment, where football is absolute king. Moving money from athletic donations to NIO is going to be absolutely essential. Which is likely going to mean cutting back on non-revenue sports.
My concern with names like Barry Alverez being thrown around is that they are going to be loath to embrace the New World of NIL etc we need someone who sees the world, as it could be not as as it was
I think someone from outside the current group that has a more national view of the conference, rather than antiquated regional view would be a huge benefit.
Hell yes! But he’s probably too old.
Nice Katan reference
Every time I read the Olympic Village section I just think about NIL dollars that could have been
DJ to tackle and tegra as a road paver?
This schedule sets up pretty nicely. If we can find a tackle in the portal we should be very dangerous on offense with a healthy RB room. The teams we physically overmatch. We are just gonna run the ball all day.
Obviously McCord. He is much farther along than CJ. Stroud was when he took over.
Well…bye
I hate to say it, but we need to cut some of the non-revenue sports so that they can lean on the large donors to fund NIL instead of minor sports. It really isn’t fair to the football players, that they need to generate most of the revenue for the athletic department and don’t get their fair share because they are effectively supporting most of the other non-revenue sports.
