The 2005 Texas loss was when I had my epiphany. After that loss, I was up the entire night upset and couldn't sleep. I was so hurt and angry that the next day I said to myself... "This is stupid and silly and a game should not adversely affect my day to day life and happiness" From that date forward, I still thoroughly enjoy the victories and successes, but when the inevitable losses come, I am able to immediately turn my attention elsewhere and forget about it. Life is so much better this way.

But Day isn't at the plate. He is at 3rd base. Or at least he was. He may have moved backwards to 2nd base at this point.

This is a very underrated point. Michigan will know they MUST beat Ohio State to make the playoffs. They will know without a doubt they will not backdoor their way in. On the other hand Ohio State could see a scenario arise in which they lose to Michigan and still get in with the right teams ahead of them losing after they drop to 5 or 6.

Yes...Ohio State must account for his scrambling on plays that break down. He is very pocket aware and knows when to take off. I sure wish I could say the same about our QB, it would make us unstoppable.

If you are being held all the time, then put a spotlight on it! First, politely let the official know(player and coach) Second, if the hold is truly impeding you, then flail your arms, fall down, etc. If they have a handful of shirt, go the opposite way so they have to let go or the hold becomes more obvious. Maybe loosen the fit of the jerseys so it becomes more obvious. There are a ton of things you can do to force the refs hands. Don't accept it!
