1-Stroud.....2- Young....distant 3- Levis...i don't get all the Levis love and to me Young is gonna be pretty good but Stroud has proven to be better .

A big part of why --THE main reason why --Ohio St. didn't accomplish their goals with Stroud at qb was the sucky defense, not Stroud..could he have done/run more sometimes? of course. Do I wish the Stroud we say being tenacious against Georgia appeared more, esp in the scum game? yes...but overall he played very , very well and was not the reason OSU lost those games. it was sucky defense and some bad play-calling...Stroud will be missed more than some think. great player and seems to be as great of a person with integrity OSU fans can be proud of....thank God we don't have a punk like JJ on our team. .....and good old school cartoon song!

I don't think his heart is totally with scum or else he wouldn't be interviewing for all these NFL jobs the last couple years.. it's called: he interviewed and didn't get the jobs so he has to stay put.

The main thing I learned from this is that the dude from Syracuse is on drugs and Nick Saban is delusional.. his team was nearly a five loss team and barely beat seven loss Texas A&M and five loss Texas.. to go along with their two losses... came down right to the end against Ole Miss also who ended up not being very good.

Just for once can we start keeping some people like some of the other teams seem to get lucky with?! The players that are staying I honestly expected to stay and they really should to help themselves.. it would be great to just keep a couple of players for once that we know can go to the NFL but choose to stay 1 more year at Ohio State anyway.. I have massive concerns about the depth and talent and on the o- line.. download if you wish but that's just the reality right now unfortunately.

That's just asinine to put TCU at #2 after THAT.

I know some people don't like to blame the replay booth or injuries for a loss but let's face it -when you look at how many players and the caliber of those players were out or hurting for the Georgia game , it absolutely determined the outcome of who won that game, and more than likely who wins the national championship .Ohio state would have thrown all over that TCU defense and won by at leadt 2 tds. Very very frustrating.. I give the backup to credit work in their butts off and doing all they could but you just can't be missing the caliber of players that we did for that long against Georgia or against scum for that matter for how many running backs and JSN being out. The defense is also to blame of course but I still think those things determined at least the outcome of the playoff game unfortunately.

The offensive line depth really really concerns me.. and the reality is whoever wins the quarterback job there's probably going to be a little bit of a step down at quarterback.. not saying they're going to be bad or not good just a step down from Stroud... and yes next year's schedule is definitely tougher especially with those road games.. if the defense can improve and be more consistently good and the quarterback plays just a little step under Stroud this team has a shot to be very good. if not it could be a longer season than most of us hope for.

wow--worst year ever for OSU football injuries to key (no pun really intended) players and now this with hoops ..enough already!

sorry oldtown but that doesn't make any sense to say the first 59 minutes didn't matter...every minute matters and when you don't have Harrison for that last minute (or quarter) that makes a HUGE difference.

This team is gonna miss Stroud WAY more than some moronic fans on here think....dude is a gamer and seems to be humble, good man as well. Great effort by him and the offense last night . not saying defense didnt try and look--all 4 playoff defense , including #1 GA, gave up over 40..doesnt mean OSU doesnt need to improve there because they sure do but also a different era right now. Secondary coaches really need evaluated.

Stroud rocked...injuries sucked...refs ok but REPLAY BOOTH sucked...concussion and called targeting but..no..probably cost OSU 4 points along with losing Harrison, which changes things a LOT for their defense. OSU players have been ejected for so called targeting that wasn't but THAT was overturned??  and the 4th down play overturned giving them an eventual fg---any nmber of these individually change who wins this game and yes i know the defense kinda sucks but so did all 4 playoff team defenses....GA is good but OSU deserved this win.

it doesn't have a ton to do with it, but it DID have an impact..can you imagine having JSN, Henderson, Stover, etc--not losing Harrison for the 4th quarter--we scored 3 points in the 4th with Harrison and 38 with him in it. Ask any OSU or GA coach if that made a difference...it did and that along with lame replay booth overturns cost OSU the game. and of course..the defense, which did at least adjusted to stopping the run in the 2nd half and also held GA to a very low 3rd down conversion rate. Stroud and OSU should be playing (beating the tar out of) TCU for the title, not GA.

Notice how ESPN barely showed replays of the targeting that was wrongly overturned..if this was the SEC team in a reverse situation they would have slo-moed that play 80 times..but nope. The replay booth did all it could on a couple plays (indisputable on 4th down?!) to help decide this game for Georgia. Period .The points Georgia gained (and yes i am disappointed in defensive lapses yet again) from those 2 plays along with that weird let's give them the timeout fake punt, --change any of those and game over..Ohio St. goes on to wreck TCU to win the title.This has become a joke with replay.

I don't think I've seen the injury bug hit so many talented, key players --and all on one side of the ball--as much as this year's team. next man up only goes so far when you lose THAT much premier talent. Yet, Ohio St. almost pulled if off and should have if it wasn't for once again bad defense (remember Kentucky just 2 games ago held Georgia to 16 points) and a few bad replay booth reversals--EVERY call was going Georgia's way and the cheap shot knocking out Harrison was ridiculous. complete intent on that. Ohio St. deserved to win that game and would've gone on to destroy TCU's not so great defense.

It absolutely changed the game.. the replay booth official did that a couple times reversing on the field calls with very questionable reversals.. that was a cheap shot and just having Harrison on the field.. whether the ball is going to him or not.. opens up the field for everybody else.. much lesser hits for targeting have haunted Ohio State in the past but this one got wrongly reversed and it was more than likely a four-point swing which would have changed the outcome of this game.. and yes I'm still up after this was posted at 2:30 because I can't fall asleep after losing what was probably the national championship game that really should have been a win.. as.good as they arwe, Georgia did not deserve to win this and Stroud was a beast.... we had so many awesome players hurt and out before this game and during

I am super proud of Stroud and the rest of the offense for being down so many guys and having so many crappy reversals by the idiot in the replay booth... for the most part I thought Day called a pretty good game and there were a couple player screwups or somebody falling down.. that said the defense is still too porous and I don't know why people don't mention the new secondary coach but the dude that came from Cincinnati did not have a very impressive first year to say the least.. after getting gutted in the first half in the run game at least the defense stepped it up big time stopping the run in the second half.. but anybody ripping on CJ Stroud and really even calling Day into question at this point is just a stupid moronic fan and you can go root for somebody else... that's the kind of hard I love to see from this team and I wish that we had against scum the cheap shot on Harrison not being called was a joke and that would have put us at the one yard line and that's four extra points we would have had that call and the reversal on the 4th Down Georgia call saying that was indisputable evidence to overturn that call was a joke and both of those calls along with losing Harrison for the fourth quarter screw this game up because Georgia would have been down a couple possessions and it basically had no shot to come back to win this game.. Ohio State deserved to win this despite the defensive lapses.

Pfff..... TCU is good but JJ McCarthy is vastly overrated and threw two pick sixes and scum didn't call it very good game.. Ohio state would put up over 60 on that pourous TCU defense so yeah today's loss was a loss for the national championship because Ohio State would have dominated TCU like 65 to 48 LOL

Yes I try to be fair and unfortunately we did lose the scum game and that wasn't referee calls but the Clemson game and the Georgia game some blatant things went in the other team's favor that cost Ohio State not only the games but probably national championships and it is flat out wrong.
