Do you see what Georgia did last night? They let their back ups play as if the game was 00. Our back ups don’t get that kind of playing time. That’s strictly on the head coach. I agree that he stays.  But I always thought the sign of a good coach was to take the players you have and develop a scheme that maximizes their skills. He seemed to be a guy that said, @I don’t care what my players are skill set wise we’re gonna play a 4-2-5 and the rest be  damned.

The guy that replaced don Brown in Michigan, turned it around in season1. The guy that replaced him this year didnt miss a beat. Coach Knowles  doesn’t get a pass. If he doesn’t have the players to play a safety driven defense, do what all good coaches do age use a system to the strengths of the players you have now and  not try to fit a square peg in a round hole. Knowles  is a bust.

That’s culture.  Toughness isn’t just manhandling your guy but it’s also not wilting under pressure. Not sure our coach that kind of toughness. 

I’d like to see those stats for the starters only.  Adding in the plays when the back ups are May skew the Data. .

After Urban’s first year, the media asked him the difference between the SEC and the Big 10.  He said the MAIN difference was the SEC has better, more athletic lines (both sides).  Not so much a huge difference in skill players.

Grant, it’s by design. Our HC thinks he’s playing a video game.  Toughness comes from the culture set by the coach and the players one recruits.  Out coach is finesse.  He’d rather play 7 on 7
