This was a disgusting loss,if you add up the 0 runs OSU didn't score for nearly half of the game. Justice isn't even trying and Thornton seems lost at times,Ice can't score. Please give the bench guys a shot they can not be any worse.

Holtmann lost the game with his starting 5 not scoring for nearly 5 minutes. I would like to see what 6'8" Etzler could do with some meaningful minutes.
This game was lost in the first 5 minutes due to Holtmanns starting lineup, very sad effort. Ice is terrible on offense,Justice is going through the motions,Okpara is a project that may get better in 2 years. I feel sorry for the guys on the bench who work hard all week and then have to sit and watch other guys play who don't seem to care.
Starting lineup produced 0 points in 5 minutes that is just sad. Yes Sensabaugh takes some questionable shots and isn't all world on defense but he is the best we have and he has to play or OSU lacks scoring.
Over 5 minutes without a basket against a terrible Gopher team, yes that was a clean block at the end but honestly OSU didn't desrve to win play so half hearted. Not sure if the team has locker room issues or not but they are clearly not buying in.
Okpara is very thin and not strong enough yet but he is still getting a chance.
Etzler could help break a press and the kid would give effort on every play.
Etzler can handle the ball well, passes the ball well and he hustles but Holtmann won't even give the kid a few minutes to see if he can help.
Very sloppy game,OSU has to find a way to break a press. With Key down the Buckeyes do not have a back up big that is Big 10 ready,no depth at point guard. Holtmann brings in talent but the majority play the same position. Keep your heads up and find a way to win the next one.
Oden is with Matta at Butler,I believe Dials works with the bigs at OSU.
Holtmann doesn't recruit bigs and in a game where Key gets hurt it forces a 6'10 project into the game and though Okpara did ok he is just not strong enough for the Big 10 maybe he gains 20 pounds and improves offensively but it is going to take some time.
OSU played fairly well most of the game but didn't take care of the ball at the end. Key going down is tough,Okpara is ok defensively but he is too thin and very limited on offense.
This is good news and I am betting you will see more transfers landing at OSU because they know they will get a chance at a starting spot.
Road wins are always a plus in the Big 10. It will be interesting to see how Key defends the giant for Purdue.
Georgia was given a first down,Georgia got a very questionable timeout, targeting called on the field but changed by the booth. CJ played a great game and put OSU in position to win. That kick wasn't even close.
Etzler got 1:46 and didn't get any shots, kind of hard to improve when you don't get playing time.
I agree we need to see what Etzler can do with quality minutes not just in garbage time. Personally I haven't seen anything negative in his game and he has the ability to help this team but Holtmann won't put him on the floor.
Would have been nice to see Etzler get some quality minutes instead of the garbage time stuff. The kid has skills that can help this team.
Buckeyes took care of business in the 2nd half. Good to see Etzler on the floor and contributing.
This would be a good game to get Etzler some minutes and not just scraps at the end. Rotate him in with the starters in the first half and see if he can contribute as I know he has size and skill, just lacks weight.
OSU just doesn't have enough size, too many turnovers and couldn't buy a bucket from deep. Keep working and get better and wins will come. Go Buckeyes.
Justice loves himself some home cooking. Good job Buckeyes.
He has to get more minutes and Ice is not a threat to score.
Not a bad first half but OSU mistakes have kept the Red Raiders in the game. I am not a fan of the flop call especially when there is contact.
Would love to see JSN a few plays as it would keep the defense honest and give Harrison more single coverage.
