I'm a Browns fan who actually likes to follow the Bengals,   there are so many connections there between the Browns , Buckeyes and  Bengals ... I despise the Ravens  and Model  literally and I dislike the Stillers by rivalry and I still remember when they were really bad... and the Browns much better...

If noting else they both look to have the ideal frames to be OT in college , their work ethic and drive will make or break them and if they come to tOSU they will have one of the best places to try and do it...

He will need to change his schemes , less attacking more containment... The old great Buckeyes D's of the Senator  where we had very good D's for years at a time made them march down the field forcing them into execution errors or mistakes and using the shorter field nearing the RED zone as an added factor to keep oppsoing teams kicking FG's instead of scoring TD's ... you cannot do that if your attacking all the time and having your DB's one on one and your other personnel to close to the LOS getting burnt on run plays for big yardage... IIRC those were Jim Heacock lead D's...

I would also add that we had Running games that also helped bleed the clock  that left the opposing O's less opportunities to do their own ball control... not saying we should not pass but have a more effective running game that can eat time when needed... we nedd to be able to run the QB  more to make it more efective...

That should be  foremost in his mind getting BU QB's more chances to throw in real games even if ahead  by 20 PTS or more ... he should not be worried about the feelings of the opposing coach or team... he can always  start running the ball in the RED zone area... it is the other coaches job to stop the the score with his D, don't purposely do it for him ... IOW he should run the O the same way  for the teams benefit to get his whole O reps in both the pass and run game... I don't remember UFM doing it that much like Day ... he seemed to do it at the very end... and he also had no issue pulling guys early to get BU reps...

But in that game it was the OFFENSE that failed us more than the D... We settled for FG's and  our last grasp pass for a TD to win was poor execution... you need the O to help the D at times by having longer time consuming drives that also are TD's not FG's and also keeps the other teams O off the field... and as mentioned our D had a TO/TD taken away that game ...  IMO that game was lost by the O and I think many agree with that

When the final seed in the NCAA trny actually wins a NCAA trny then they should think about expanding it...so no... as we have seen the 4th seed in the CFP has already done that a couple times IIRC... so it made sense to expand it past  4 teams...

We may need him to win  Player of the week or Frosh of the week again to beat Purdue... can a frosh win player of the week... I think they can...
