Born and raised in Lorain, Buckeye fan since I can first recall watching a game on TV and that was 1965. Favorite Buckeye moment - getting Woody Hayes' autograph as a kid. Suffering in the hell hole known as PSU country but love sticking it to the fans here. Have made attending the Spring Game a tradition with my two grown sons.

The one challenge I think this team will have will be a team that has an athletic big. Miku is just not athletic enough inside to defend well, depends most on her height. On the flip side with her outside shot she presents problems being defended by most bigs.

In 2020 they finished 10th in the rankings. 2021 they were 13th.  2022 they were 9th. 2023 they are 17th. Yes, not Ohio State level but not exactly falling off the cliff.

So how is it we struggle so much with the portal while ttun cleans up? Second year in a row they land a top center, this time the guy from Stanford. Yes, we had Luke last year but this year the opportunity was wide open. The Stanford guy was ranked in the top 10 of all centers last year.

That is what it seems like. Not the same team we saw in the first two months. And it is not like teams were able to figure out what they were doing and can now stop it because there was nothing to figure out with this offense.

I am not against Holtmann going, I think it is definitely time for that. And I hope that McGuff can continue what he is doing and stop losing large number of players to the portal. My only point is that it took McGuff 8 years to get this team where it is at today with a bunch of misses in those previous 8 years. Thinking he could magically make the men's team successful in a year or two is foolish. I also realize that the comment that was made was done a bit tongue in cheek.

Be careful what you wish for. Two years ago what is being said about Holtmann is exactly what was said about McGuff. And add to that the number of good players he recruited only to see them leave after one or two years. Was not long ago that fans who followed the women's team was calling for his head and hoping to get Katie Smith. Sometimes coaches get a mini run because the stars align. I am not ready to say the McGuff has put his issues behind him yet.

Georgia had 7 home games this year plus the SEC championship and the Peach Bowl are essentially home games for them. Did not hurt them. Ohio State beat Penn State who gave Auburn their worse defeat of the year at their place. Worse than Bama. Worse than LSU. Equal to Georgia except Georgia beat them at home. Your arguments hold no water. None.
