Randy Ayers did not have the players to make a competitive team at the end of his era. Holtmann has the players and has managed to transform this into an uncompetitive team. You could find a better team at the North Rec Center than Nebraska. Utterly appalling loss. . . Still back the Bucks but this is a free-fall with no end in sight.
CJ - great Buckeye, better man! Thanks for representing so well - best of luck in the NFL!! Go Bucks!!
Really??!! The last possession in regulation …..
So Key's 30 minutes were too much? Do players manage the minutes or does the coach. I know the answer with most teams. . . Preparing for the worst today but still rooting for the Bucks to pull it off!!
There are three impacts that a long scoring play has, especially when the Bucks give it up to a team that is trailing. (1) Points go on the board (obviously). (2) The opponent expends next to no effort and energy in getting those points. (3) Momentum, which is such a big part of CFB, swings to the other side at the flip of a switch. The defensive game plan must be built and executed with a better sense of risk/reward as applied to critical situations. Now, about special teams which have been in position to make big plays but did not. . . Go Bucks!!
Said it before and I’ll say it again. Coach Holt is turning into Eldon Miller Lite, only without ever contending for championships…. Go Bucks!!

Boooooom!!!!!!
I was at the game. CJ balled out all out. Simply an amazing performance by an outstanding player and leader!! Go Bucks!!
David Boston belongs on any list of TOSU great receivers. I’ll never forget his electric shake after the game-winning catch at the Rose Bowl!!!
Boooooom!!!!
UNC touched the ball twice, from the baseline, on two separate plays, and somehow less than two seconds elapsed. Sheesh. Just leaves one incredulous that Okpara was not guarding the inbound baseline pass with two seconds left. That essentially eliminates the bullet pass, leaving four-on-four for what has to be a clean catch and shoot of a long toss. Go Bucks!!!

Prayers up young Buck!!
Play fakes on play action have to be a lot more convincing. That kind of ball handling has been a lost art since Troy Smith. Go Bucks!!!

Down to RB 4 and a converted linebacker, no JSN, O-line injuries, LBs and DBs with broken hands - the injury bug deprived this team of its full complement of talent for a season, the combination of which could have been incredible. With that said, it is next man up, no excuses, and Go Bucks - beat UGA!!!!
Focus on UGA in their backyard - it is the only thing that matters now. Go Bucks!!!!

Get healthy and LFG!! OH - IO!!!

CJ all day!!! He is a committed faithful man who represents well. Always a Buckeye!!! Go Bucks!!!
I can sort of wrap my head around 5 plays being the difference. However, those plays were the result of poor structure, fundamentals, and in-game calls. Further, the coaching staff apparently mishandling injured players while not steadying the sideline, combined with a lack of adjustments, were all very troubling. Add to that recipe players not playing their best while being undisciplined, and this loss really was reminiscent of Cooper era failure. It is so hard to stomach. If we had hit 5 home runs, we would have been talking about how slow and unathletic ttun is, so spare the rationalizations and get on with improving and playing hard through every whistle, A to B, 4 to 6!! Go Bucks!!!
