I hope I'm wrong, but I'd be surprised that our new QBs can drop dimes like CJ did. So I hope we can feed the uber-talented WRs all they can eat.
But the RB room is not bare by any means, and we'll need a reliable run game to offset the probable loss of air production.
It's all there.
Heck, if GA could win it all with Stetson the Cigar Afficionado, we have every chance.
A good coach will obviously have their "system" or favorite style of play, but a great coach is able to have multiple offenses from which to choose. They need to adapt to the competition, state of the game, the roster, etc.
Day would be a putz not to use all this air power.
Our problem is defense. Let's be clear on that.
That QB is going to be about as good as a Penn State QB. That's all.
I have suspected the same, Blu.
I think some of Harbaugh's biggest enemies are within the Michigan system itself. I think some of these power-plays are to keep them in line, to the benefit of the football program.
I'm in the minority, here, but I think Harbaugh is borderline genius and he's looking at the bigger picture and charting the course for the future of CFB.
Please help a doofus like me understand...what's the point in transferring?
I was on campus the same years as Art (almost). I really liked him as a QB and was the first "thowing" QB since, I guess, Rex Kern. It's a darn shame that addiction can ruin lives. I hope he gets sober/medical treatment in jail and that he finds God before it's too late.
Can Hayden play the slot?
Kid could be another Curtis Samuel?

MOD EDIT Tased and jailed for the low blow reference to Penn State.
They're playing without their entire O (practically) and an interim coach. This is a pre-season game.
Bert, at some point in the past, must have ingested a good football coach. He's been successful everywhere, and his teams are tough.
He picked up the holder after the kick. He's OK in the head. He's a cool dude.
That play is cursed. Burn it.
Time will tell. This is a possibility.
The guy, though, undoubtedly understands the game and is intelligent. A coach is more than a system; he should be able to have all sorts of ways to be creative and adaptative.
I'm sure he believes in his system, or he wouldn't be doing it. I just hope either a) it works, with the right players, or b) he or Day make the necessary system change to fit the OSU (the real one!) circumstances.
C'mon. We have Dallan and Chip and X. What more do you want?
If TCU wins, they also lost to the National Champs. Oh, to be a Maize and Blue fan.
If there were any doubters (not me) he proved them totally wrong. Agree one of the best Buckeye QB performances of all time. Plus the Utah game last year and he's easily one of our best QBs ever.
It sucks that he doesn't have hardware to go with it.
CJ showed his true colors tonight. He's an excellent QB and full of guts. Deserves a better legacy than he'll receive.
I don't like Knowles' gambling addiction. That's not the way the big boys play defense, and we're not Okie St.
Time for his system to change.
Iowa is a brutal tractor of white boys grinding Kentucky to dust. It's ugly-beautiful.
We had Schiano and Tim Beck and T-Bar Tommy. Don't forget.
Now do the Georgia Sattelites' "Keep Your Hands To Yourself"?
I keep thinking about the OSU-LSU national championship game from the Tressel years: OSU probably inferior talent but they punched very hard but couldn't overcome the talent differential in the long run.
The team can do this! If they fight!
And the coaches can do this...if they think clearly.
