Ohio State men's basketball is currently a dumpster fire and I could see either Holtman bolting/getting fired after this season or the next, so Bronny should go to a more stable program or jump to the pro's altogether.

Ohio State botched this whole situation up from the time they fired Thad to the hiring of guy in Holtman who never won ANYTHING of note while at Butler. Someone mentioned if OSU doesn't get rid of Holtman the program could be set 5 year. Well I got news for you the program has already been set 5 year's. This was bad hire from jump and most if not all the blame belongs on Gene Smith who btw gave Holtman an extension, thus doubling down his idiotic decision.

If Day doesn't go to aa and beat Harbaugh he should be summarily fired....

I said on another post that I could see a scenario in the next 2 year's where Holtman, Smith and Day aren't part of tOSU athletics. I Love tOSU but I'm telling you all now the aforementioned scenario is getting closer and closer to becoming reality.

The Big10 refs specifically in men's basketball have been BAD for the better part of 30+ year's. Big10 refs are a major reason why the conference despite having elite talent have exactly one NC in those 30 year's. With all that being said I still believe Holtman should've never been in that position last night to leave up to the morons in stripes.

That ultimately depends on who they hire to replace him, my money is on Gene Smith.

Serious question wth has Holtman showed you or any of us in the last 6 years he's been at tOSU that he's anything other than a mediocre coach currently stealing a check from tOSU, or that he has the temerity to turn a program around?

Yea Randy Ayers was damm good coach his problem was his hand were tied in terms of recruiting but he a really good in game coach.

Gene Smith just gave him and extension? With how the last few month's have played out in terms of tOSU's major sports that being football and men's basketball I could see a scenario where in the next 2 year's Gene Smith, Holtman and Ryan Day are no longer part of tOSU. Holtman was in over his head the day he was hired essentially meaning he was a bad hire and that falls directly on Gene Smith.

The "air-raid" works great at the beginning of the season and fizzle once that first frost hits. So no let kliff go somewhere else and get an OC who's willing run more of a Westcoast offense which perfectly blends both the run and the pass.

I would take Young over CJ easily because I believe Young is capable of resurrecting a franchise CJ I'd have to see it to believe it.

Looking objectively at the situation it's a better time than ever to leave ttun. As a Buckeye fan I actually want him to stay because if Day goes to aa later on this year and loses yet again we know Day isn't the guy at all.

I don't like to get into "ifs" in terms of what happened but I'll oblige this one time and say "if" JSN had played in the game last night there's no doubt in my mind we win the game and more than likely win going away. The aforementioned brings up a lot of questions imo.

The program in terms of the near future is of one filled with a few questions. One is can Day bounce back from getting trounced at home only to lose a heartbreaker in Atlanta. Another one is off-season changes in terms of coaching, portal and player departures. This notion that tOSU is in a good/elite place after the month and few days they've had is assinin.

At the end of the Day even CJ would tell you that WINS are the only thing that matter. CJ didn't do the aforementioned when it counted whilst past Buckeye qb's who don't have nearly as much talent as him easily did. At the end of the Day I as well as CJ himself is ready to move on from each other.

Knowles defense is way to gimmicky whilst giving up way to many big plays against an even average offense. Knowles defense reminds me of that idiot Don Brown when he was at ttun. I said it before, I'll say it again Day will be coaching for his job in aa later on this year and as of right now I can't see him making it out of aa with his job.
