Once again, the Buckeyes will prepare for a 2022 game with the oddsmakers projecting a double-digit spread.

Ohio State opened as 25-point favorites in advance of their game with the Maryland Terrapins next Saturday. This marks the third straight week betting experts have forecasted a spread for the Buckeyes by more than 20 points, and the eighth time in 11 games this season overall.

The over/under total for this game lists at 65½ at the start of the week, which would be the fourth time in the last six weeks oddsmakers have estimated Ohio State's matchups to end with a tally of at least 60 points.

Maryland enters this game with an 0-5 record against the spread in its last five games, which comes after the Terrapins went 4-1 ATS to begin the 2022 campaign. Maryland has also only covered 16 times in their last 52 games against opponents with winning records.

In the matchup between the Buckeyes and Terrapins, the home team has beaten the spread four times in a row. Additionally, the over on points has hit in the last seven meetings between these schools.

Ohio State will kick off with Maryland at 3:30 p.m. ET next Saturday on ABC.
