I think Scotty is too smart and sees through the Bill Self bs. Sure he can get a National championship by running a dirty program and maybe that appeals to a lot of players. Now, a smart player and person looks for a solid program with a great coach who can develop them on and off of the basketball court. That’s a big difference in my opinion. Go Coach, Go Bucks!!
He's not from Kansas and has only been there a year to play in HS. He was in NJ the year before last and lived most of his life in Florida and South Carolina. Also guess it could be questioned how hard Kansas pushed for him, which is a question I don't know the answer to.
B/c he isn’t from Kansas, Sunrise Christian is one of the top hoops prep schools in the country, he legitimately appreciated the tOSU culture. He is from Miami originally.
In addition to what everyone else said, keep in mind that Kansas recruits nationally, like Buckeye football. The Bucks don't necessarily have an interest in every player in Ohio who is capable of playing Power 5 level football.
This is the recruiting that is needed to make the Buckeyes a team to be very dangerous but Holtmann has got to make it happen. Really great job by the staff and keep it rolling. Win big and they shall come.

Does no one remember the FAB 5? It is possible to have a very good team with freshmen. Just look at last years NCAA tourney. They have a whole year to jell and some very experienced seniors to help them along the way. I stand behind my earlier prediction that they will be better than last years team and go past the first round in both tourneys.
