Good stuff, Griffin. Okpara will be a key piece, no doubt (no pun intended).

Can we expect a pre-game report on OSU’s 16-0 WBB team, which will host 14-2 Illinois today at the same time as the men tip off? The Illini are in second place in the B1G, currently riding a seven-game winning streak, and averaging 81.3 ppg. They’ve scored at least 76 points in six of those seven games including the last five. Could be a shootout.

Against Minnesota they had more turnovers than their opponent for the first time this year. Mikesell has been struggling for good chunks of games both shooting and with turnovers but she has answered the bell each time they needed her. This will be a different team when Shelton is back as they lack depth to pull off their constant pressure. Harris has really stepped up and has been a steadying force on the floor. She does not panic and seems to now be their floor leader. McMahon has really come on and is a difficult matchup for most teams.

I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!

Who thought Okpara was going to be KEY to our season (pun intended)? I assume most of us didn't think he see many minutes. I've been impressed and he now becomes one of the most important Buckeyes until we can get Zed back. Go Buckeyes!!!

Go Buckeyes!!!

This team has all the pieces to be a good team, just gotta give them some time to start gelling together..clean up the little stuff and they will be fine!

Ohio State was one shot away from knocking off the No. 1 team in the country.

Need to close the first half strong and need to handle the press to end the game.

Not closing out the first half has been an issue in three of their losses (Duke, UNC and Purdue).

Stay gold, Ponyboy.

No surprise, but, Zed is officially out today.  I just hope he doesn’t miss a significant portion of the season.
