The good news is (I think) that with all the known issues in the secondary this year, I don't think anyone is a given for a starting spot. The jobs in the Defensive Backfield should be the most wide open out of any in the Defense this coming season.
I’m no scout but the quickness and fluidity of his footwork and hips pop off when I watch him. Easy to see why he’s a corner. Also appears to have elite long speed. Best of luck to the kid.
I am by no means a football scout, but Simpson Hunts highlights did not look good to me at all. It looked like he got beat on all the long throws and got bailed by a bad pass. Obviously coaches feel good about him so I hope he turns out to be good cause we need someone to step up.
He showed PERFECT technique. He has been jamming guys off the line, something our corners don't do, and then after 5 yards you can't put a hand on the WR, so at that point you are in trailing coverage.. on both long throws he tracks the ball ( will be good to see that again) and then breaks up the pass, both times.....

Any updates on how Luke Montgomery has looked at All American practice?
Saw a take of him pulling for a block, did a solid job - lost his footing a bit, but solid.
Also saw him get knocked over by Keon Keeley in a one-on-one.
Nothing is too difficult for the person that doesn't have to do it.

I'm no football expert like a lot of you, but I didn't see him look back at the ball once. If that's the case, he should fit right into our secondary.

I like watching the recruiting process, but anything over 2 months out , I don't care. These 24 and 25 recruits are out for bid.
