It really sucks that we couldn't get Miyan Williams NOT coming off an injury and NOT coming off an illness and in prime game shape. He really could've been that difference and that spark the offense needed.

Right, I mean if he's in the game Day can have Stroud hand him the ball 3 times just to get closer and all of a sudden a 50 yard FG is a 40 yard FG... could've made all the difference.

Some of Styles’ snaps came on the first defensive series of the game. Pretty impressive for a guy who was supposed to be playing in high school. I’m intrigued to see what he can show next season.
Don't understand the heavy use of Rossi and Royer split out in the slot running routes when we have a room full of high 4 and 5 stars in the wide receiver room. Why does Trayanum look like the only effective back against michigan but barely gets a sniff a month later, especially at the end when we could use a hammer to get 2-3 yards a pop to set up a better field goal opportunity? Puzzling at best. I hate offseasons filled with missed opportunities.

It’s a riddle. Some commenters claim Hayden’s carries were limited against ttun because of ball security issues in practice. I find that explanation plausible, but completely unfounded due to the secrecy of practice sessions. No evidence = pure speculation.
Day routinely and consistently gives broad and likely false answers when asked about things like lack of playing time or injuries. Always has and always will. The sooner we accept this the sooner we won’t always speculate something negative because he’s not gonna change how he does that.
Agreed. Just noting that some posters (Jay_sizzle) claim to know Hayden had trouble hanging onto the ball in practice when he was hit hard. I don’t know if sizzle is typing from his rear or if he has credible info, but to your point, Day’s ambiguity fuels the speculation.
Day was asked recently point blank if Hayden had fumbling issues and days answer was no he doesn’t. He just talks about fundamentals like that when it comes to young players playing more. Hayden never had a fumble problem. Day just was y going to go into detail on how decisions are made and why.
Ok let’s catch you up real quick. So far just about every time a player has seen less snaps after playing well and fans say they’ll transfer, it turns out to be injury related. Maybe he transfers or maybe he’s battling an injury. Safe money says injury.
He's in line to start again next year and was looking dominant before he got hurt against Arkansas St (he was never the same after that). I highly doubt he's going anywhere.
Maybe not the right article to attach this to, but Cam Brown was a beast against GA. Unfortunate he didn't play that way all season and especially against ttun.
the whole team will transfer ...on offense because they hate Day's play calling ...and on Defense because they hate Knowles play calling...just like most of the fan base ...
According to Nevada bucks insider info proctor was going to be the secret weapon on defense against Georgia’s tight ends. Even said they was practicing that and he was looking good. Sign me up for more info like that lol
He should but as a fan I’m more excited about younger receivers and rb’s. Kind of like rossi. I love them players stepping up but the ceiling is so limited I doubt they improve their NFL stock all that much and it slows down young player development. If he came back I’d still be cool with that tho.
Go back and watch Hayden in the 2nd Qtr around 5:20 left….He made the first down and I was amazed there was no review in that situation and they never showed a replay

Yep…those last 3 plays likely look different with his ability to get those tough yards.

To me, it sucks that MHJ's number is 49 and not 70.

I still can’t believe that wasn’t targeting.

It was, but Pac 12 officials don't seem to understand the rule.

Hmm
Hayden has yet to fumble in an actual game for us so that excuse is wearing thin.
11 Strong.

Yes, player use has been confusing all season long but the last couple its been baffling.

Mike Hall will transfer.

Yep. And unfortunately he's the corner we're losing. He was by far our best corner against Georgia.

What stood out to me was the lack of snaps for Sawyer & Hall. Hall was very impactful at the beginning of the year....
I thought Josh Proctor would have played more snaps
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

Do you think Xavier Johnson should return for another year?

God too much Mitch Rossi.
This isn't a dig at him, he plays admirably and played his ass off but it was obvious how banged up this team was by the number of snaps he got.
Proudly dispensing unbridled arrogance since 1983.

Thedewman10, I'm right there with you on this. Was hoping Day would ask for a measurement.
Xavier needs to come back. A sure returner and a outstanding fill in at multi positions.
big buck!
