i would love to see some of these younger guys get a little experience more than in the past. Keep the brotherhood strong and keep these guys engaged to be ready with "next man up" mentality.
Don't eat the salad. They are trying to poison us.
Considering that we had a team playing for the national championship on the last play of the game (yes I consider the Ga semifinal as the national championship and you can’t convincee me differently) , it makes sense that guys have to develop physically and mentally to crack the starting lineup. It’s been the same story at Alabama for years .
Curry has alot of upside for sure. I am curious how he plays. I am curious if they have Sawyer play more of a true DE and a LB at Leo but we will need to wait and see.
Curry and Hicks will certainly be contributors in the future. Powers looks like he has a little A.J.Hawk in him. Kye Stokes looked great at times in the Spring Game. I am really hoping we hold on to Burton and Grayes. If I remember right, Burton was the top receiver in the 2022 class until he was injured his senior year. If anyone can convince them to stay its Hartline.
There are some good players mention in this thread, just wish the staff would play them more in blowouts. To work your ass off and still do not get playing time in blowouts just may turn into a transfer this year or next.
It's crazy, Caleb Burton was the #1wr at 1 point and he may not see the field his first 2 years. With the embarrassment of riches at wr we just signed he may not get on the field at OSU.
These situations used to be a predictor of future success or failure. I don’t thinks it’s as accurate anymore. We used to basically write off all freshman and 1 or 2 would rise up but now we almost expect 5 or more to make plays even if it’s not likely. Who knows what it means but if they stick around I can see plenty of production.
The safety unit looks like it will be nasty next year. Ja’Had Carter, Styles, Ransom, and Stokes are a very athletic and versatile group that figures to be excellent both in coverage and run support.
The CBs are a bigger question mark, but the good news is that CB and RB are the two positions that best lend themselves to true frosh making immediate impacts. Between the two frosh and current roster guys, including Jyaire Brown, hopefully 2-3 will break out.
Sure would like some of our bigger DTs come in early. Kanu, etc. did not play much and my guess is our other big fella won't play much in 2023 either. Seems to be a trend at OSU.

Will be interesting to see who makes a splash next season. I got my eye on Caden Curry...

Good group of early enrollees last year. Curry and Hicks are the two most promising with Brown right there.
I think Caden will get the most reps out of all of them. He has a quick first step.

If Jayaire is getting any significant snaps the defense will not look any better then this year.
That's right, that's right, we bad
