CJ was a true professional even when it was hard to stand up to the media after a loss. Watching JJ MCCarthy and Caleb Williams act like children made me really realize what a special guy he is beyond his amazing talent for football. A true leader and fine young man, he will be missed. He sets the bar high for those who follow.
Hope he lands somewhere that he will be supported and nurtured in what could very well be a great NFL career. I for one am glad that he was our QB1 these past two seasons. I’ll not hold it against him that he did not have a defense that could help him deliver a Natty and a couple pair of Gold Pants. Good Fortunes CJ, enjoy the Journey.
Myan said 4L, what is 4L? When I think of 4L, the first thing that comes to mind is Oregon, Michigan, Michigan and Georgia. For the record, I pin none of those L's on CJ, those games were lost because of defense. CJ did OSU proud on the offensive side of the ball. What is 4L?

You did better than I did Stantman! Thanks to those who clarified.
If your opponent knocks you on your ass, honor the game and RESPECT him. But Gentlemen, no bastard ever won a football game by getting knocked on his ass. You won it by knocking the other poor dumb bastard on his ass and making HIM respect You!!
Congratulations CJ you deserve it. You carry yourself as a professional and you act like you’ve been there before. I hope you get with an organization that will help your continued growth as a QB. You’re a great representation of OSU, one of the best that’s come thru OSU.
Pure class in everything he did. 100% accountable, no whining or drama. What more could you ask of a leader.? Any team that passes on him is missing out.
Don't eat the salad. They are trying to poison us.
Congratulations CJ! It’s been a real pleasure watching you play, young man. Thank you for everything you’ve accomplished as a Buckeye. Once a Buckeye, always a Buckeye..
Now just waiting patiently for Stephen A’s assessment of him being a primarily running quarterback…
They'll be playing that Buckeye SWAG song for you! Ball out at the next level young man! BTW i think Coach Day learned a valuable lesson (a tad late) this past season - when you have horses - let them *&@!^% Run!!!!

CJ has so much more class than Stetson, Caleb, and JJ. Humble man of God with a great life ahead of hI’m. Thank You for such a memorable playoff effort. The win was stolen away, but you are always a winner with God! Go be great and touch other lives!
You are going to miss you CJ! A class act every single second even though those around you were not! You were a great ambassador for the university both on and off the field! Go be great on Sundays - and regardless of where you land, I'll be a fan when you're on the field!
The best thing about Pastafarianism? It is not only acceptable, but advisable, to be heavily sauced
He appears to be the kind of human being I would hope my grandson will be. He's very humble and appreciative of all he has -- he has gone from a backup to a starter with no passes thrown to one of the most prolific passers ever. I wish he was back for two more years. He is an outstanding person with a great upside in the NFL and it's too bad all college players do not have his perspective.

CJ was obviously well-respected in the locker room. Wish him the best. Hope he has a great NFL career.

I’m sure McCord was the first to congratulate him lol

Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game. -- Michael Jordan

From one of your most vocal critics, CJ: GIVE EM HELL!
And thank you for proving people like me wrong. :-) Be the greatest at the next level!
Nice. Way to own it.

CJ did his thing, handled his business, carried himself like a professional. He left big shoes to fill, wish him the best of luck in the NFL.

CJ, I wish you would have run more but you were awesome in the Georgia game and a smart move to move on.
