Actually looking forward to seeing if the Lady Buckeyes can win some games in the tournament. Too bad Dorka Juhasz decided to transfer to UCONN, but after watching some games I've been really impressed with the guard play of Jacy Sheldon & Taylor Mikesell, and their play will be the catalyst for tOSU advancing. What's bad about Dorka transfering? She avg. 8 pts there! She's so very avg. I'll take the frosh over her every day of the week and twice on Saturday's. In basketball a gazelle is much more valuable than a baby giraffe. Did you ever see her lope down the court? She stagnated the team more than she helped it.
Unfortunately while they have the height to play toe to toe inside with Missouri State they are at a severe disadvantage against LSU who has two players at 6'5", three at 6'3", and another four taller than 6'. Buckeyes have a total of four taller than 6' and only two of them get appreciable playing time. Assuming they get past Missouri State they are going to have hit a lot of threes or find a way to get their bigs in trouble guarding shorter players against LSU (cannot see LSU losing their first game). The good news is that they seem to play a three guard lineup and none are taller than 5'8".
I don't buy one goddam drop of gas in the state of Michigan!
