The Ohio State Wrestling Buckeyes have a meet against Maryland tonight, next week is a HUGE showdown in AA with Michigan, the 29th they have Sparty at the Covelli, 2/3 it's D-Day for the Wrestlebucks at home against Penn State, Sunday 2/5 they take on Northwestern which is an away meet, 2/10 is vs. Nebraska, then there is a duel meet vs. Cornell in Tampa, followed by the conference championship on 3/4.
The wrestling team is currently 7-1, it's likely that Michigan and Penn State are going to come out on top against a very young Ohio State wrestling team, but I imagine the Wrestlebucks will put up more of a fight than the basketball team has of late. If you feel the need to invest your time, energy, finances and etc to a winter Ohio State program I cannot recommend the Wrestling team enough, especially home meets at the Covelli, it's fantastic.

That loss to Northern Iowa was pathetic. Michigan and Penn State should win rather easily against this squad. And 6 of the regular 10 are seniors. In 2 years they might have the firepower, but we will see.

@ RunEddie: The wrestling team is looking good despite missing some key starters on occasion! The future looks bright for this team! Let’s hope Sasso brings home the title this year!
I know NIL is outside of university control, but I hope these athletes are getting some NIL $$! They work to hard and sacrifice to much to be left out!

At the Kent State meet earlier this year they had a meet and greet with the team so after the meet my son and I were able to meet the team and coach Tom Ryan... What an excellent group of Ohio State representatives. All great kids, they were all super excited to meet my 5 year old son, and coach Ryan was very humble when I told him what a huge fan I am of the team and how his 2015 squad is really what got me into D1 wrestling.

We are going 0-4....There's no way we are going to win the Iowa or at Indiana games...Kris Murray and TJD are going to absolutely destroy our "defense." There's also no way this team is going to win at Illinois, but I guess maybe they got a shot against Wisconsin.
I am praying that Holtmann and his agent are working on an exit strategy to take the Notre Dame job.
shows how important Zed Key is to this team. Hoping they can put it back together when he is 100% but would have liked to see the team step while he's out and not 100%
Following the Purdue loss, I predicted the team would lose 10 of its next 15 games (counting that loss.) It is said, but I’m feeling pretty good about hitting my prediction following this stretch of games!
I hope that I am wrong, but there doesn’t seem like an easy fix (return of an I injured player, easy stretch in the schedule, etc.)
Go Bucks, i hope I am wrong!

I believe the question is "How many do you expect them to win?" Therefore, the answer is 0!

I need them to win Saturday, because I'll be there with my wife, and in-laws. A win would make the time with my in-laws more enjoyable.

"We didn't play with enough force tonight"
Blind squirrel finding a nut, I picked 1.
I EXPECT them to win 4, I THINK they will win fewer than that.
So I'm guessing the only reason 1 is winning is bc 0 wasn't an option for a while.

Isn't this question equivalent to kicking a dead dog ?
Need a "Who Cares Wake Me When Holtmann Is Gone" option!

They've proven themselves. They are what we thought. The Women's Team is so much more entertaining.
As an IU Basketball fan from waaaay back (I did not grow up near Columbus), I expect the Buckeyes to beat the always-underachieving Hoosiers.
Zero? Are we watching the same team y'all? They are knocking on the door of a break through and it better happen soon if they want to make the tourney
Expectations, as opposed to how I'm betting, are two different things.
So, I will answer in this way: I expect the Holtmann's seat to get even hotter, at the end of each game.
You could fry an egg on his chair.
