So much fun to watch. Press whole game, reminds me of the old Arkansas men's teams of 40 minutes of hell. These girls are in great condition. What are they doing different than football, and I am serious as we need to be better shape
Thanks! I thought that you could keep that section by just simply revising that statement as getting 24 TOs in one game worthwhile praising considering that they have been consistently great on generating TOs all year long.
Like the UNLV Runnin Rebels of the mid-70s. Frenetic pace, D creates tons of turnovers. A blast to watch this team and I rarely watch women’s hoops. Love it.
I hated this, too. But I was able to DVR both games and then go back and forth between them. I can watch the sections I missed later.
This team, as noted, is so much fun to watch. They just never run out of energy. The conditioning must be amazing, because when Louisville's players were obviously flagging, OSU was going strong -- right to the end of the game.
Not many teams can handle this type of pressure well.
If there's a weakness for OSU, it is the underneath game. A much bigger team may have an advantage, so long as they can handle the press and the halfcourt pressure that OSU applies so well.
To be fair it was ul's 5th game in 11 days, including 3 in a row starting 11 days earlier. Their schedule maker did them no favors, not much of a chance to get their legs back with very little rest in between games.
Really enjoyed watching this game - found myself watching it more than the Duke game. This squad is so fun to watch. Can’t wait to see them in person next Sunday
I rarely watch any games these days due to busy schedule so I was very surprised how well they shot today. Whenever I see that women's college basketball players shoot better percentages than the men's counterparts, I wonder whether that is because of the lower defense intensity in the women's games, or because the girls practice more on shooting than the boys, or perhaps both.
Thanks for the information. Honestly I didn't even know that they use smaller balls. Do the WNBA or women's international basketball games use smaller balls as well?
Great 2nd half surge. Louisville just couldn't keep up and looked worn out. The pace and pressure takes teams out of whatever game plan they had. Fun to watch
Great win ladies but still need to take care of the basketball. 20 turnovers will not cut it, and shooting 63% from the foul line needs to be addressed. Room for improvement......Go Lady Bucks
There are always some making “glass half empty” comments, critiquing any performance. How about a little appreciation to an undefeated, top 5 ranking, beating 2 ranked teams, and winning all games by double digits? Stop pretending to be a topnotch coach, and just enjoy their stellar play.
No it is a legit concern, for a team that has three really good upperclass guards, that's a tremendous amount of to's, especially when one considers that the vast majority of them come in the half court offense.
Or you could say an 11-0 undefeated fb team obviously has no flaws, don't worry about the pass interferences, running into the receivers, or them being open by 5 yards, just enjoy their stellar play.
I could coach better than the crime dog....lol.....They could be a national title contender if they can keep those turnovers to 15 or less per game. and BTW, my beer glass is always half empty because I enjoy the suds just a tad....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
You take the risk with the reward. They put on constant pressure and typically outscore teams by a bunch on turnovers converted to points. Given the pace at which they play, you are going to have some attrition (turnovers) because of this style. But it's paying huge dividends so far.
Great to see the Ladybucks playing so well and still excelling at defense, this will serve them well when an off shooting night occurs. Congratulations!

Always fun to watch
Glad to see the women are carrying the flag for the Buckeyes this week!
The men's sports need to step up their game!
Please, the Buckeye football team is in great shape athletically speaking that stuff is loser fan nonsense ...
Very similar to their win over Tennessee: trailed by a bunch early, then competitive by the early second half and a runaway in the fourth quarter,
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Money!
Go Bucks!
Great job, ladies! Keep it going.
TG Proud Buckeye alumnus.
Great game and great writeup! "Ohio State lost the turnover battle 24-20..." is misleading though as OSU had fewer TOs than Louisville.

You’re right, I read the box score incorrectly. That has been fixed.

And according to the stats it was Mikesell, not Mikulasikova, who led with 26 points.
Great comeback. I love how these girls can press.

Very impressive win, frustrating that this game was scheduled when the men played their game. Go Bucks !

That became very apparent in the second half.

There is no harmony in this rivalry's refrain

I think it is do to less D play and the smaller ball that they use... 1" smaller circumference wise...

Wasted_1997
I think it's because they have smaller hands in general. But if you look at the bright side, smaller hands make our balls look much bigger, no?
Hey hey, lookie here an article on the women's basketball team! Thanks Dan!
The LadyBucks are tenacious.
