Congratulations Lady Bucks!!

Now here’s what I don’t understand. How is the #3 ranked and only undefeated women’s basketball team left in the BIG, relegated to BTN+ for their next game Sunday??

It’s simple economics. Supply and demand. Same reason why the WNBA loses money every year and is subsidized by the NBA.

It's ridiculous, I agree. They should be on ESPN, for sure.

So proud of them, though! I will be watching!

Lady Buckeyes won't be on ESPN unless they play Indiana, Iowa or Maryland or some big time juggernaut like Connecticut, Tennessee, Stanford or South Carolina.

I'll bet the way the OH ST Women's team can press, they may give the guys a good game!

Go Bucks!  And they could still get to another level. Impressive!

What impresses me most about this team is that they own the fourth quarter of every game.  They have been behind by double digits at halftime, behind at the end of the 3rd quarter, and then in the 4th quarter they crush their opponent.  Great mental toughness, teamwork and conditioning shows up every single game.

Our people are everywhere, Esto Dignus.

I agree, They kicked it up another notch in the 4th. Lass night's game was still in doubt at the end of the 3rd before putting them away.

I totally agree, the Lady Bucks deserve much more coverage, starting with Eleven Warriors.

These ladies deserve it. Their style of ball is so much fun to watch - they just keep coming at you, regardless of the score.

Can JC take a medical redshirt year?  Day to day has become month to month.

If she doesn't come back at all, probably.

But I want her back this season! With this roster as it's constructed, adding her makes this team a definite threat to get to a Final Four. And once you get there, anything can happen.

OSU is just so predictably horrid at giving out information on injuries, that it has almost become laughable.

For you and all others that are just dying for all of that information-just what exactly would you do with it? Let's say she has a broken bone in her foot, how exactly would knowing that help your day to day life? Would you send her flowers, study up on broken bones in the foot so you'd know exactly how long to expect her out? If you are smart enough to know that it's none of your business, why can't you just accept that as fact?

But...if you have kids, I'd like to know all of their medical history; broken bones, hospitalizations, surgeries, etc. Might as well put out what their gpa's are as well. Did they go to college? I'm sure everyone will sleep better knowing information that is none of their business.

If you are a good enough fan to watch all of the games, you'll know just like the rest of us, when she's back on the court. Osu might even slip up and mention when she's practicing again.

She would qualify for a redshirt if she didn't play any more this year. But she could come back next year if she wanted to, regardless of this year.

It's unlikely she'd come back next year, unless she feels this injury year isn't the one she wants to go out on.

They need Sheldon back by BIG tourney time.  I'm perfectly fine watching them play without her for now.  In the mean time, Harris and Bristow are getting valuable experience which will only result in a more well-rounded lineup down the stretch.

Cotie McMahon is so much like Sensabaugh from the men's team.  She's only going to get better.  Really, really fun to watch such skill and dominance.

Go Bucks!
