The Buckeyes’ incoming class of freshmen includes forward Cotie McMahon, who was ranked as the No. 23 overall prospect in the 2022 class and started alongside Mikulasikova, Sheldon, Mikesell and sophomore Taylor Thierry in OSU’s lone preseason exhibition game, in which it beat Notre Dame College (a Division II program) 118-33.
Look for Cotie McMahon to dominate... She is a baller...
It's nice to have a team with returning stars, and a reason for high expectations. Not used to that in the men's game. This is like all basketball used to be, back in the day.
My aim, then, is to whip the Weasels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom. - William Tecumseh Sherman (with apologies)
This is very reminiscent of the Katie Smith days for the women, especially in terms of overall talent. Now do they have a talent like Smith on the roster? Probably not, but they are deeper and more talented up and down the roster than those Smith teams were. So the ceiling is very high for this team if they can put it together. Given the schedule, they'll be tested right off the bat, and throughout the season.
They just had a hell of a 3rd quarter! Outscored them 30-13. Multiple 10-second violations were caused. Tennessee has over 20 turnovers (not all in the 3rd quarter).
Wow! I took awhile to get going, but the Bucks have TN totally flustered!

Looking forward to following the ladies again this season - Go Bucks!
Sheldon, Greene, and Mikesell are excellent guards. It would be nice if the men’s team could assemble that guard talent together.
And you can actually watch this game on TV tonight!
Just to make sure Buckeye fans know: LadyBucks play tonight at 8:30 p.m. at the Schottenstein Center, which will be televised on Big Ten Network.

Shummate also was highly recruited. Technically a WVU transfer but she quit WVU last year before the season started.
