And we know why parents send their sons to Ohio State to play football (and, yes, there is crying in football).

Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game. -- Michael Jordan

Well sir, yesterday there was at least one old man in the stands who cried while watching football.  I have been blessed to see lots of games in the ‘Shoe with lots of wonderful moments. This was certainly one of the best.

1.)  I’m pretty sure Marv killed a guy…

2.)  If Jack Sawyer doesn’t make it in the League, he has a future in pro wrestling.  That spear was Goldberg-esque.

3.)  Marv’s catch on the sideline was unreal, but, please tell him not to do that again.  He could have torn every ligament in his knee doing that.

Seriously, though, re:  #1-  It was a GREAT block, but, Marv is lucky he didn’t get called for targeting.  Can you imagine this board if he had to sit out the first half of the Maryland game because he threw a nasty block in the second half of a blowout against IU?

Wonderful outpouring of elation for their teammate #0.

Somehow I bet the NIL mercenary class at Texas A&M isn’t hugging and crying and praising. Nor are they driving 90 miles away after practice to watch their former teammate Sam Wiglusz.

You need to have talented guys but then you have to make them a team.

Proud of my university for revealing character and building upon it.

What's the Sam Wiglusz story? I hadn't heard that before.

In fact, five Ohio State players made the hour-plus drive from Columbus to Athens after Ohio State practice Tuesday to see Wisglusz’s Bobcats become bowl-eligible with their sixth win of the season – a 45-24 victory over Buffalo.

Needless to say, Wiglusz was thrilled to see his former teammates in the stands at Peden Stadium.

“A couple of guys actually made it to the game last night, which was really cool. They came from practice. So Marvin (Harrison Jr.) and Emeka (Egbuka) and Xavier Johnson and Mitch Rossi and Reis Stocksdale, they all made the trip,” Wiglusz said.

I love how faith-filled this team is. The world could use more of that right now.

Round on the ends and "HI" in the middle. O-HI-O.

Amen,Amen, Amen.  Made me so proud to see what's important really at Ohio State.  Shouldn't be surprised with the likes of Jesse Owens, Jim Parker, etc. in its history.  God Bless them all.

Urban slapping that ass like he’s getting ready for a night at the Pint House!

Harry’s fortunate he only slapped him.

For that MHJr play, can someone explain how a human detaches their foot in that manner and reattaches it? Asking for a friend.

Also Jack Sawyer flat out went Goldberg style with that spear.

How wonderful. But, I gotta admit with all the celebrating I had Yes Ted Ginn at nc game injury running thru my mind. Don't hurt Babb!
