Chicago isn't going to do anything intelligent with that first pick. They SHOULD trade down a few spots to a team that needs a QB, then get PJJ with the 6th or 7th pick. But they'll probably draft Will Anderson #1 overall and leave Fields to get bludgeoned for another season.

It hurts that I can't argue with you. I am cautiously optimistic that they'll make some good moves to get Justin some help, but I still can't argue with you.
Selfishly, I was hoping he'd come back to help out a new starting QB, but I knew that would never happen. He's earned this opportunity and I wish him nothing but the best in the League!

In the revised colorized edition of the movie the line goes like this..."I remember every detail. The good guys wore scarlet and gray, the scUM wore blue." The other memorable line being, "Play it again, Brutus."
If your opponent knocks you on your ass, honor the game and RESPECT him. But Gentlemen, no bastard ever won a football game by getting knocked on his ass. You won it by knocking the other poor dumb bastard on his ass and making HIM respect You!!
McCord would be gone for sure, but Brown might hang around for 2024 unless you expect Brown to transfer out if he loses the QB battle this spring/fall.
You would choose a potential good QB over the best QB in the nation? If they transfer because of that, then there will be 2 more lined up behind them. One of them would probably be named Raiola.

I think both as a QB and a person CJ is ready for the next level. His market value right now is as high as he could hope for. I wish him all the best and am excited for the next QB1, Kyle or Devyn.
I kind of like that CJ is taking his time, thinking things through.... Whats the chance of being QB1 in the draft? Whats the chance of winning a Natty next year?
Stroud is the best QB in this draft, even if Young gets picked ahead of him. Young is Kyler Murray 2.0 (although I do think that Young is more mature than Murray).
If Stroud waits another year, he will be QB2 behind Caleb Williams.
Stroud should go now and get started toward that second NFL contract.
As a long time fan, I believe he rates as one of the finest offensive tackles we've had play for OSU. He will be missed but he's on to bigger and better things!
Best of luck; he's a high first-round pick and he's going to make millions... but leaving Ohio State having never beaten *ichigan would be a lifetime regret for me if I were Paris Johnson.
Paris was a great player and an even better person. He graduated, too. He had no choice but to leave. A Top 10 pick will get him $30 million guaranteed. GMs will love him.
We're sure gonna miss him. I STILL think he should have been @ LT from day 1 regardless of the vets listed ahead of him. His time at guard felt somewhat like of waste of the talent he had to offer at a premium position. jmo
If you have two people that agree on everything, that only means one of them is not thinking at all.
Yep CB22. I don't think Stud's "shuffling of the deck" philosophy did him (or the Buckeyes) any favors. If you have a dominate LT you're foolish not to lock him in there and build the rest of the line around that.
If you have two people that agree on everything, that only means one of them is not thinking at all.
What an awesome young man and a great Buckeye! Very glad he came here to play (and study!). Best wishes to him and MANY THANKS. What a great job he did protecting CJ. Go Bucks!
Crazy bright future, love it when an in-state guy goes to Ohio State and does big things, love it when any Buckeye makes positive moves in their life, but an Ohio kid getting there just hits a bit differently.
Much respect to PJJ, best of luck in your pro career.
The Excellence of Execution, the Best there is, the Best there was, the Best there ever will be!
A great Buckeye and a great human being, Thank you Paris for bringing honor to Buckeye Nation. I will cheer for you throughout your career. Congrats on your degree and tree, well earned. Best wishes.
Indy has the 4th pick... trade down .. then if either Vegas or Carolina like Levis for some reason trade down again . You can then draft PJJr with pick 7 or 9
I remember when he was recruited. The prevailing thought was he was going to be a star for us on AND off the field. Paris delivered big time. I hope he has a long, successful, and concussion-free career.
Thank You Paris for being the classy young man and very skilled player you are and Best of Luck in the NFL!! You have done about all you can...graduated, All-American, started you own foundation to help others...time to move on (but if you change your mind????)
Had the exact career that the coaches and fans hoped he would have - leaving after 3 as a high first round pick. Great player, great role model, and now another proofpoint for recruiting the next great tackle.
Best wishes to Paris Johnson has he moves on tot he NFL. The three years he's been a Buckeye have gone way too fast. I look forward to watching his career develop in the NFL. Go Bucks!

Go get that paycheck big guy! Chase those dreams and go be great! Buckeye Nation thanks you for your hard work and dedication to this university.

Least surprising announcement after his earlier letter. Hope he has a great career!

Would have been the shock of the ages if he was going to return but would have been great. Had an awesome year.
Go get paid big man. I think he has a great future.
The only surprise here is that I didn’t realize he hadn’t already declared. Go make that money!

Great name. Upvote for that.
I said this to my buddy yesterday. Trade down and make Paris their first pick. Need to protect Justin first.
BOATS and HOES.
Trade down and take Paris and JSN to pair with Fields. Now that would be must see TV if you're a Buckeye fan.
But not a Packer fan.
Agreed! He'll look good in a Bears uni.
Lived up to the hype. Buckeye Nation thanks you Paris
Go Bucks
Good luck Paris Johnson Jr

I remember every detail. The Germans wore gray, you wore blue.
Except in this case, Paris wore gray (and scarlet). And Thank God he didn't wear blue (and maize).

CJ announcement soon to come. I was still holding out hope.

Only if you want 2 other QBs in the Portal. CJ needs to go be a Pro. Get paid. Invest wisely.
Literally could not care less if that means CJ came back. It doesn’t matter though it’s not happening.

Congrats and thanks for your time here
Negativity is a choice I seldom make. Everything has a positive spin. Sometimes you simply have to look a little harder
Good luck, young man! You’ll do great things on and off the field!
Class of 2001 - classless since then.
Good luck. Solid Buckeye for life
He's going to be great in the NFL, go represent THE to the best of your abilities young man!
He's more than ready, shouldn't be a shocker to anyone. Will be a great pro. Good luck Paris!

Three years is just too short. Lol we barely knew you just kidding. You are a beast now go get paid.

A class act through and through. Might be the opposite tackle to Orlando Pace on the all-time Oline. Congrats to the big guy.
Great Buckeye on and off the field! We'll miss you, Paris but it's time to move on! All the best in the NFL, we'll be rooting for you!

Thanks for being a Buckeye and an outstanding representative of The Ohio State University.
It's great to see a guy with his ability and his character have a chance to realize his dreams.

Cmon now Steelers, get chance to draft him at 17. I think no chance he's still there, but he's easily my biggest hope.
