Dawand was here for four years and could get picked in the 1st round. Which recent high pick OL that Bama had came back for a 5th year? Landon Dickerson is the only one (went early 2nd) and he was a transfer who missed seasons with injury.
Neal left after 3, Leatherwood left after 4, Wills after 3, Jonah Williams after 3, Cam Robinson after 3.
….. no they dont … like at all., their last like 10 highly rated OL have all declared EARLY In the draft , Jonah Williams , Cam robinson , jedrick willis , and many more …. They all leave because Saban ENCOURAGES them to
Elite offensive linemen are supposed to leave after 3 or 4 years tops. This happens more often at Alabama because Bama puts out better OL prospects than us most of the time
What a great young man. All the best in the future! GO BUCKEYES!

Dawand Jones! What a strange recruiting journey. It all started when there was disappointment when we "settled" for a 1043rd ranked player and the 85th ranked OT out of HS after some misses in the recruiting cycle. But now we would all be flipping cartwheels if he were to return.
I’m happy for him. He’s one of my favorite buckeyes of all time. He’s gonna be a great pro. I was sold on him when I seen his high school basketball highlights.

Good luck in the League, Big Thanos. Thanks for all you did as a Buckeye.
Good luck Dewand. You will be missed.
Having to break in 3 new starters on the O-line with a new starting QB will be a neat trick.

someone explain to me how Paris J and Luke W merit a front page post, while this one seems to have been "relegated" to "the forum".
in short, what's the criteria for a front pager?
There was a front page article for Dawand accepting a Senior Bowl invite, so that was a de facto announcement article.
This is definitely where I parked my car.
hmm. well, okay then. thx & +1
The Front Page isn't big enough.
underrated comment ... +1
Good luck Dawand!
Alabama seems to be able to convince offensive lineman like this to stay.
You mean minus the ones they told to kick rocks?
I think they have a 2 year starter in the portal...
Was he a second-round draft pick?

Best wishes to Dawand Jones. What a beast. Hope he succeeds at the next level.

This monster should do very well in the NFL, he's obviously huge and is very likely going to slay it at the combine. Good luck young man!

Improved himself, played well, wish him the best. Late see him as a 2nd to 3rd round pick and 10 year right tackle.

Just checked. Pro Football focus has Dwand as the 10th rated tackle and a late day 2 pick.
