I’ll be honest, I saw this the other day and didn’t have anywhere to post it but now that the bandaid has been ripped off I’ll have at it, lol. Locally ‘26 Levi Davis from Olentangy is “one to know” …
2026 Columbus (OH) QB Levi Davis puts the multi in multi-sport athlete. One of the best 26 QBs in the Midwest, one of the best 26 hoopers in Ohio. This spring went out for track for the fun of it & he just set a national record w/ a 14.53 in the 110 hurdles @levi_davis13pic.twitter.com/DDw3ZSJTRh
— Brad Maendler (@BradMaendler) April 29, 2022
Hopefully kid hasn't peaked at 13 either. That's the biggest risk when looking at kids this young. We all know kids that dominated at toung ages because theyre bigger/faster and then others peak later. For instance, in 8th grade I was 5'8 135lbs, 11th grade 6'6 240. I played against 6ft tall 12 year olds who to this day are still 6ft haha
As someone who always wanted to play football as a kid, I would’ve loved your dimensions.
In 8th grade I was 5’8”, 88 lbs…in 11th grade I was 5’10” 135 lbs. LOL

Hell nah, what on earth are they feeding these kids? 14.53 in the 110 hurdles in 8th grade is insane, and the kid looks like he can already sling it. Absolutely insane.
Sounds like the kid is a special athlete, and extremely fast, but (just from a track and field perspective), it’s not apples to apples- high school high hurdle height is like 39” , and middle school is shorter- like 33” or 36”
Marcus Ray is a coach at North so this offer makes sense. Pickerington is loaded with talent. Central’s class ‘27 could produce a lot of D-1 kids if they continue to develop.
One of my students my last year of teaching 8th grade (before moving to administration) started the year at 6'3" and ended at about 6'7". He's now 6'9" and will probably be a first-round pick this year in the NBA draft. You never know how they'll turn out when they're in 8th grade; but sometimes you do.
Recently offered ‘26 OLB/Edge Tyler Atkinson has some elite friends that we’ll need to keep an eye on; ‘26 DL Daverin Deuce Geralds and ‘26 QB Julian ‘JuJu’ Lewis both have tons of hype and for good reason. Here is Deuce squating 455 in 8th grade!!! His dad 6’2 305 played center at Ole Miss. Here is a short clip of JuJu but it’s enough to show the kid can definitely spin it.
Pennsylvania ‘26 OL Greg Thomas II at 6’4 280 is definitely one to know, free 247 evaluation “Thomas easily passes the eye-test from a physical standpoint. As a matter of fact, he passes the eye-test on several fronts. Thomas is advanced from a technique and skill standpoint for his age and could definitely compete at the high school level at camps. I was impressed with his footwork and lateral quickness during the position drills and 1v1 period. He’s definitely been in the weight room. Thomas overpowered everyone he came up against. He has the upper-body power to press people off of his frame. I was impressed with the way he quickly got into his pass-sets and was ready to give out compact, well-timed punches. Thomas has the opportunity to become one of the top offensive linemen prospects in his class.”
2026 California QB Brady Smigiel 6’4 180 is a very impressive young gun. I saw several tweets praising him as a “national recruit” and being our current QB from Cali turned out alright, maybe we go back out West in ‘26?!?! Brady will be coached by his father at Newbury Park HS.
Assuming he was in the Fort Thomas Highlands high school district (based on the photos behind him in those pictures), that’s an interesting move. Highlands is one of Kentucky’s all-time great football programs. According to its Wikipedia page, it holds state records for state titles (23) and consecutive state football championships with six in a row. It has had thirteen undefeated seasons and 88 winning seasons out of a total of 100.

Dan posted it in our 2023 chat but throwing it over here with some highlights. ‘26 WR Chris Henry Jr 6’3 170 is camping at OSU today. Henry is from Cincy and will attended West Clermont HS. It is only one clip but he is long and smooth, creates separation with ease - going to be a good one. PacMan Jones was with Chris at Marshall Camp, wonder if he’ll be with him at OSU today.
Thanks for the info. Here is a story on Cincy Enquirer
After a noteworthy junior high campaign at Withrow, the sons of late former Bengal Chris Henryhave now moved in with their adoptive father and Henry's former West Virginia Mountaineer teammate, Adam "Pacman" Jones.
Jones lives in the West Clermont School District. Thus, Chris Henry Jr., currently an eighth-grader, will be with the Wolves high school program this coming season. Younger brother DeMarcus is currently a seventh-grader but played on Withrow's high-powered junior high team this past fall
Ohio State offered 2026 wide receiver Chris Henry Jr., son of former Cincinnati Bengals wideout Chris Henry. https://t.co/HOBSZhTLWv

This is surreal and and outstanding at the same time. I'm now officially OLD. Chris Henry son is about to start high school, my son is graduating. I will never forget those squad's back then. 2003-2005. I thought Ocho was special but my lord once Henry got loose buh bye. Lanky, speed, outstanding hands. Perfect complement to BOTH TJ and Ocho.
Very awesome story about Adam Jones and Henry's son's. Kind of stuff we need to hear more of. Jones will do them right, not too mention I'm pretty sure in the near future he'll have them around PBS and some player, learning, studying and such. Such a good story and a positive headline out of Cincinnati.
Veni, Vidi, Vici. I came, I saw, I conquered.

Ohio talent seems to be back on the rise of recent. Wonder if people are starting to realize that your money goes further in Ohio than it does in the "more desirable" states.
The battle for Pickerington is going be great because the talent out here is nuts. North’s 26 class vs Central’s 27 class is gonna be one for the ages.
Locally Olentangy Orange ‘26 standout QB Levi Davis mentioned above was at Penn State yesterday.
Another local kid Pickerington North ‘26 QB Rocco Williams recently won QB MVP at Auburn and made a southern tour with stops at Alabama and Ole Miss.
Nationally Julian Lewis continues to rack up big time offers, most recently from Bama and Texas. Pretty sure Saban will be in a nursing home by the time “JuJu” would be eligible to play for the Tide, lol. He is friends with already offered Tyler Atkinson.
It’s a historically black school, not an exclusively black school. Former Ohio State walk-on QB J.P. Andrade is now at Jackson State. He’s not black, either. If you look at JSU’s 2021 roster, there were probably 10 guys on it who aren’t black.

A week or so ago Justin Fields, CJ Stroud, Deshaun Watson and Malik Willis were seen working out together with QB guru Quincy Avery. I didn’t realize it at the time but it turns out 2026 GA QB Julian JuJu Lewis was working out too and turning heads with a group of pros. Crazy.
Chris Henry Jr towering over Pac-Man at Bengals practice. Crazy how much he looks like his late Dad and how big he is as an incoming freshman. Gonna be a special talent, can’t wait to follow his upcoming season and career …

Malachi Toney, teammate of Brandon Inniss, might be a potential offer in the class. Had 6 catches for 103 yards in his first varsity game, which also earned his tweet a like from Hartline.
Chris Henry Jr and his West Clermont squad lost to Hamilton 2-21 on opening night …
In his highly anticipated debut, Henry Jr. finished with six receptions for 26 yards – often finding himself double covered with safety help over top throughout the night. His first – of many – career reception came in the first quarter on a six-yard quick hitter connection from sophomore quarterback Michael Corcoran.
As Crouch explained, Hamilton knew the kind of talent Henry Jr. possesses and was focused on making life hard for the freshman wideout.
“I’m glad we don’t have to cover him again,” Crouch spoke of Henry Jr. “Hopefully they make the playoffs and we cover him again. . . We bracketed him, double covered him, just knew where he was at.“
‘26 RB Jonaz Walton is a statistical rushing leader in state of Georgia as a freshman which is extremely impressive. Georgia and GaTech already offered. We’ve been pretty active in Georgia so I’d expect him to potentially hit OSU radar in the future
Can't wait for the "Class of 2040 Recruiting New (Part 1)" thread to start later this season. I heard there was a 10 lb newborn at Wexner who'd be a perfect fit at left tackle
I mentioned before I watched a 10 year old qb. this year throw passes 40 yards right on the money. His father had to be a qb at one time he did everything right and smooth. The bad was a couple were not caught.
Wow this kid has offers from everyone already after just his freshman season. He threw for 4,118 yards and 48 touchdowns playing against the best competition in Georgia

1st 2026 offer is out to Georgia DE Tyler Atkinson
2026?! These kids are 8th graders?
Definitely not something we are used to seeing at OSU, which tells me this kid must be really special.
Can’t bitch and make fun about other programs offering 8th graders any more.
A query often posed where creepers and degenerates lurk. In other words, it fits just fine here.
Hmm
I can't believe we have a 2026 thread already. This is madness, and I'm here for it.
The actuarial table says there is a good chance I’m dead by the time they finish at OSU.
Legit question, how are these kids getting attention in 8th grade? What sort of camps does a kid like this attend?
They get one offer and it snowballs. Plus playing on some of those national youth teams garners a bunch of attention
Is there national youth teams in Ohio or is it mostly a southern thing? Seems there aren't many 7 on 7 teams in Ohio for that matter.
You can play on those USA football national teams that have all star games or the Under Armour one like this kid
There are traveling flag football teams in the summer. The kid is already 6’3 190, so at worst you already have a LB. Hell, Javonte Jean Baptiste was 6’5 195 when he enrolled at tOSU! This kid had an early growth spurt, so it got him early attention.
Javonte Jean Baptiste was listed on his high school roster at 6-5/215 as a senior. On Ohio State’s 2018 roster, which was his true freshman season, he was listed at 6-5/235.

It was his official visit that he weighed 195 on-senior year. Point being, he was the same size as a senior that this dude is as an 8th grader.
I'm 33 and this makes me feel old as hell....
I’ll be honest, I saw this the other day and didn’t have anywhere to post it but now that the bandaid has been ripped off I’ll have at it, lol. Locally ‘26 Levi Davis from Olentangy is “one to know” …

I believe he is headed to Olentangy Orange.
I’m sure the Pickerington Central coaches are house hunting for his family as we speak!
Hell nah, what on earth are they feeding these kids? 14.53 in the 110 hurdles in 8th grade is insane, and the kid looks like he can already sling it. Absolutely insane.
This is definitely where I parked my car.
For reference, Jeremiah Smith’s PR in the 110 Hurdles is 15.14, and he’s headed to the Florida state T&F championships this weekend.
Sounds like the kid is a special athlete, and extremely fast, but (just from a track and field perspective), it’s not apples to apples- high school high hurdle height is like 39” , and middle school is shorter- like 33” or 36”
Gotcha. I thought they were shorter, but wasn’t sure. Thanks!
Levi also plays for All Ohio Red and is arguably the best player on that team.
One kid from Pickerington North has already been offered from UM. Zion Robinson.

He's a great athlete and a good kid. I believe his father played in the NFL or was an Olympian of some kind if I'm remembering correctly.

2026 doesn't even feel like a real year. Think the staff will let him commit if he tells them he wants to?
Lol crystal ball for a 2026 recruit is crazy but based on his highlights he seems like a future elite prospect so hopefully it happens
Henry just transferred from West Clermont to Cincy Withrow.
That’s great. I’ve know Coach Jones for years. He will get most out of him and develop him as a man.
‘26 GA Athlete Devin Carter will be at THE Game. Carter has 6 offers already for Georgia, FSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Nebraska and South Carolina
