How they pulled this rabbit out of the hat, I dunno, but HHH + Undertaker is doing the coin flip at mid field. Woooooooooo!!!!

Through our some of our struggles (defense) and unfortunate luck (Clemson 2019 / UGA and key injuries) since Day took the helm, these happenings will continue to develop unflinchable character within the program and it will lead to Ryan Day’s most complete team here soon.
#6, replacing key leadership!! If Eichenberg and Stover declare for the draft, where will our leadership come from other than our WR’s?!? It feels like every year there is a deep core of players either 4/5 years into the program or players with 2 years of starting experience +. Our 2023 will be very green, very young…when you look at the 2020 recruiting class, it is depleted based on ealry NFL entry and transfers. 9 units strong and above the line!!
CJ, thank you for a GREAT career at OSU. This performance vs UGA, goes down as one of the best all-time game's for an OSU QB. You showed a TON tonight and lead our team in every way you could. Thank you!! The better team tonight was snake bit...again.
Heart and prayers will go out to Avery, and family. Sounds like he has amazing support, and the right mindset to overcome. Buckeye faithful fully behind you!
Great SS today!!!
One has to assume since the loss to TTUN, the coaches have poored over the film together. Gotta think Day during those group sessions asked Alford point blank, “Why no Hayden?. Why not go with a player who in 1 half of football the week before ran like a beast and then doesn’t see the field vs SCum? In that moment, Day gets an answer and that is the answer he should have provided today…like, “I went with the hot hand”. Day’s response, more finger pointing.
We gave up explosive plays, YEP. Our defense needs to be better, I get it. But where is the self reflection and talk from coach Day that our offense only had 1 explosive play? We failed multiple times inside the red zone and threw a 13 yard seam pass to #8 on 4th and 2 that was well covered. A lot of finger pointing at our defense but our offense, needs to do much better than only 23 points.
Stroud is gonna have to make plays with his legs when it’s called for. Just like Cardale vs Bama in 2014 and Fields, their are moments when a pass is called that if the pocket collapses (and it will vs UGA), QB gotta get up field with his legs. I SECOND - NO WR SCREENS/LOS quick hitters.
No matter how disrespectful DH will be, CJ earned it!! An elite college football player, so fortunate he is forever a Buckeye!
Lot of anger and finger pointing in this write up. Shit happens.
3 for 3 on 3rd down conversions on our opening drive. We went 2 of 15 the rest of the game. SCum won that battle, converted more 3rd downs and 3 of their BIG plays came on 3rd down. 3rd down success has been an issue for our offense all year, and it was vs SCum…to me, that is the biggest stat from yesterday.
It feels like our offense is digressing as this year has gone on. I worry about that. I thought our offense would take the next step and look like Bama from 2020…however, I get no JSN and a slew of RB injuries, I get it but our offense with 4 potential 1st round picks, expected more. With that said, saving our best for LAST reg season game, we will play our best game yet…time to go!!!
That classic jump shot on the wing after a dribble, drive and kick by Baker or JJ… Such a smooth player! God bless!
Live the coverage and tweaks within the profile!! Thank you 11W!!!
With SO much talent, continuous top 5 recruiting classes, so many dudes to plug and play, why does our special teams continue to stink outside of our kicker and punter?
On not picking up 3rd-and-1 situations: "There could be 50 guys in the box. You got to go get it." Don’t love this statement from coach. We routinely get stoned on short yardage situations, why?? 4 of our 5 starting OL coming out of HS were top 3 at their positions. I don’t think it’s a talent or toughness thing.
TOP…that stat from the game is alarming. Northwestern went into the game with a sound gameplay for all the elements. Overall, solid back to back road wins for OSU in late Oct and Nov
Woooooo!!!! Big Ron STUDD….2 D’S in STUDD boys!! Run Run Run the ball!!! OL, get after it today!!
Weather looks to be a huge factor on Saturday, up to 40 mph winds and rain….yikes!?!?!? Run the ball, continue to to play game changing D! Go BUCKS!
Congrats Paris!!!!
SCum had their way Iowa last year and this year, dominated the LOS. Opportunity is there for OSU to make a statement w/the high noon KO...2nd half of the year fully loaded; LETS GO!!!
Success with our high powered offense starts up from with our tackles…they are often on an island without help from TE or a chip from RB in pass pro. Love the commitment, we need it!!
I like to point fingers and BLAME B10 for scheduling 9 conference games. One could argue that based on Div alignment that Iowa game in 2017 was game 9 for OSU in conference play. So when SEC team plays 8 conf games and a non conf opponent like Dick-Cheese State or Duckbutter A&M mid season, it riles me up…and our game vs Iowa was on the road non the less too.
