He is on our slingshot team...beat Goliath from TTUN this past summer
I almost said something about length as well but promptly deleted it...
I'll start a crowd fund that will pay them to leave...then every fan base can contribute
Great...now McCord is gonna hit the portal /s
So if he doesn't win the powerball drawing tomorrow night...he is gone.
Bunch of damn hippies /s (sort of)
Neither do you lol
Ok top portal safety counts. However we seem to be losing out on O-Line left and right. Also the CB situation seems to be looking bleak. It is ok if someone wants to complain...not everyone comes from the land of rainbows and unicorns like you. At the end of the day from recruiting to poor DB play, weak special teams and two in a row losses to michigan I think it's ok to have some opinions. Does that mean everything is bad...of course not...but it also doesn't mean people should get butthurt when someone calls out a weakness on an anonymous internet forum. At the end of the day there are some obvious glaring weaknesses going on at OSU...and if you can't see that fine, but seeing only what you want to see makes for lame piss poor conversion with no objective thoughts and pure confirmation bias.
Agree 100%
Imagine 16th year Stetson Bennett, look out
Praying for you and give it hell young man!
Don't need to recruit as well when you can hit the transfer portal to fill holes...as they are doing quite well
ND didn't exactly have a powerful offense...and what was Michigan's passing offense in the first half? Also the game isn't over at the half...what was their rushing yards second half?
Giving up big plays happens...but it is tiresome seeing a big play every defensive series.
So back before NIL all these other schools were secretly paying players yet OSU somehow got a ton of great players even though they were clean and not doing it? However now that it is 100% ok and in the open and OSU boosters can pay, these guys no longer want to come here? Sounds like a stretch that these pipelines to pay players existed only down south and OSU could compete with nothing to offer a few years ago...but now that it is legal these pipelines down south are winning out because they always existed. If they couldn't get them when they had a competitive advantage over the other schools they wouldn't just now get them when it is all legal
Football is still king in the south and young well off people who are more inclined to donate to this stuff are down south. Let's face it...the aging fan base in the midwest doesn't believe in paying players...right or wrong that is true. Some places it just means more i guess...good or bad it just is what it is.
Thanks for making me feel you in middle age lol. Upvotes for you!
Harrison would be better off sitting out next year if Williams isn't throwing to him. He would probably regress to HS level play if he was again catching passes from McCord.
Everyone knew that kid who ate glue in class...chances are you are that kid.
I thought the same thing...it went from targeting to nothing. Typically they at least give the 15 yd personal foul. Hell even Kirby Smart wasn't arguing the call because he knew it was a target
2026! Shit I'll be in my 40s by then...feeling old AF
You could have just answered "no he burned his bridge"...but some get off on being agitators I suppose.
Maybe if you whine a little more he will do that next time.
The reason he was able to get away with those at his last stops was probably a few reasons...first the expectations were not nearly what they are here...so a couple big plays here and there don't matter as much. Secondly when you are in the Big 12 and ACC there is a good chance the team you are playing has a garbage defense...so if you give up a big play there is a good chance your offense will easily be able to score and make up for it. Finally it is a non traditional defense...not really saying gimmicky but just not what most are used to seeing...so at certain places with less talent it provides an edge especially against lower quality opponents...sort of like air raid or heavy option play offenses do...air raid offense works great against 80% of the teams you play, but when you have a good defense you struggle. Don Brown did the same thing at michigan...he had a unique defense that was great most of the time and worked exceedingly well against weaker teams because it was an odd defense with good players...but once they hit really good offenses they got shredded.
He was supposed to work with what he had. If that means making adjustments to just slow Georgia down so be it. However we all saw what he should not have done.
