I really think it is too late. He'll give Hartline a few minutes as he finishes packing for another trip up to Ann Arbor this weekend. SCum has been feeling very very confident on getting Davis for quite awhile now.

I took on those 'rose colored glasses' fans that attacked anyone that pointed out deficiencies in the program. Those 'rose colored glasses' are 'Settlers' & are still around. Maybe they get their wish & a turnaround occurs but I doubt it. At least, they should remain silent for now.
Regarding AP Poll, I thought I read a year ago that OSU ranked 1st in # of times appearing in the AP top 25. Another way to look at it. Shouldn't have changed.
Yeah! But why look up stats that won't fit your narrative.
Meanwhile, Maryland is 1-3 in their last 4 games. Any guesses to what team was their one win?
Every time I see a picture of Knowles, it makes me sick. Giving up those easy bombs for TDs is unacceptable. He told everyone that this Defense was ready earlier in the season. Those defending his scheme are part of the rose colored glassess- participation crowd.
Has Trey Leroux left the team? IIRC, he held a scholarship roster spot this past year. Both he & Toutant may be better served elsewhere which could give OSU a chance at a top Transfer, although I'm concerned with how Frye comes off with recruits.
What a waste of resources toward a stand-alone field for a non-revenue sport.
Agree. Poster missed the most winnable Championship game but there's been so many.
This is on Frye. Don't know if he's channeling Stud's personality or what but it's not working
Nice to have Stover back but SCum trumped it with getting Blake Corum back.
Their Transfer Portal pickups also put OSU to shame. Maybe, someone can wake up Frye & tell him his dream of Johnson & Jones coming back at OT is just that, a dream.
NO, a sound Defensive Coordinator away from the Top Spot. Even if this guy found away to a Top 10 or 15, OSU wins it all. A False Prophet kept the Bucks from the Natty. No one will remember who 3, 4, 5, 6 were a few years from now.
NCAA should check with the departed players from the 2020 team to get their take if they had enough players to play that game against OSU. There may have been a bigger lie in that case.
We can get all best CBs on the planet but as long as Knowles runs the Cluster Defensive scheme, things won't get better.
poorly called inbounds play has been CH's calling card for seasons
How bout going after Justin Rogers, a DT in the TP, that OSU was recruiting back in the day.
apparently, did watch him in games this season
Other than depth, doesn't hurt. #4 did not play well this year. Gave up TDs when in games this year.
Knowles is a Snake Oil Salesman. He conned Day into thinking his unique Defense would be the end all. He interviewed with Bielema for the Illinois DC & Bret laughed him off. Bret selected a guy that knew what he was doing & provided one of the best Defenses in the country. He was rewarded with the Purdue HC job.
Time to Cut Bait with the Con Man!
They also missed Harbaugh booting players annually until a solid core was in place. To some extent, he also did this with Asst coaches.
Can’t agree more. I’ve dropped my season tickets. Now use funds for a Hawaii trip. Screw the entitlement wave.
Gene needs to say enough of the entitlement $$. It went too far. Like groups busting into shops & taking everything they can get because entitled.
Have to agree with the above but will also add that Coaching with a lead or in a big game has been a challenge.
Thought the same thing after blowing a large lead to Rutgers last year. Late game mgt a concern.
Frye worries me both on the Development aspect as well as Recruiting. Hopefully, he doesn't have the personality of Stud, in which many recruits cannot relate to. UCLA's run game was about 1 YPC better this season without Frye coaching their OL. Still early so we'll see if improvement happens.
Great Start. Grateful to have these fine young men onboard. Now, let's find some top OLmen to protect the QB & open holes for the RBs.
