This could be my childhood bias to the early and mid 2000's tressel teams but imagining Troy Smith throwing to Teddy Ginn, Gonzalez and Holmes in our current scheme is wild... The Heisman's that woulda came from that...

There's something to be said about not having "your guys" and being new. But my gosh man why would you even let the CHANCE of something getting behind while going back to man coverage late in that game happen?! I understand Knowles is aggressive and wanted to probably get a game sealing big turnover in his bread and butter stuff, but why not just use the clock to your advantage and make them go the whole field with them Infront of you, take 5-6 minutes off the clock, and bring the offense back out? Still baffles me... but I'm not making 2 mil a year so who knows

I've agreed with you all year on every single article Ramzy and I completely agree again. Pin the ears back, let the dogs off the leash and GO. LFG Bucks.

Georgia will do what has been shown on tape to frustrate Day and Stroud, run cover 2 high and make them go play by play down the field. We'll see if they have finally learned their lesson from the past 2 years and are willing to take 5 yards a play that WILL BE GIVEN TO THEM and methodically move down the field. Just because you didn't get a first down or touchdown on a play doesn't mean it's a bad thing. There's something to be said for analytics sure, but when they give you something, you have to take it. All comes down to discipline, both sides of the ball, from coaches to players to the water boy. As an old grumpy dude with a hoodie once said, DO YOUR JOB

That reverse against ND with Teddy was just next level stuff... I always will remember my dad, who was an all ohio guard and end, dying laughing at big Datish trying to keep pace with him down the sideline lol!

I think that this Georgia matchup couldn't come at a better time for the program. Hype videos, fancy drip and social media posts are NOT going to beat Georgia. They are going to punch you in the mouth, grind you down the whole game and play fundamentally sound ball all night long. The only way to hang with that is to punch them right the f*** back and play grown man, sound in all areas, ball. This is the perfect test for Day and company. Put the ball down, buckle the chinstrap and play on a string. Let's go.

You either get the boys together and get it in line, or as Schlegs says, it's going to be BUMPY.

Mouth shut, hardnosed, 4 to 6, a to b.

I couldn't sum up how I've felt since Saturday any better than every bit of this article. Every single point is spot on for me. Awesome work guys.

Give Hartline and Wilson the play sheet, hammer disciplined play the whole next month, have the de's set edge instead of running straight downhill and losing contain, and tell the corners and safeties in trail technique to get their head around and locate the ball. Fix those things and we roll over Georgia, ScUM, TCU, USC, and anyone else if they WANT to. Big IF THEY WANT TO there. These guys are studs and they know it. Just have to put a game fully together and fix those few things and we're going to boatrace teams. Cheer on Utah and KSU this weekend and we'll see what happens... Go Bucks.

Couldn't have said it better myself man. Congrats on that awesome story from your team as well. Reminds me of Urban talking about his principles in Above the Line as well where he was out to constantly make them uncomfortable at all times that he could during the whole year, offseason too, so that when it was for real, they'd be ready. He never let them get too high on themselves but more importantly, never too low also, just like you stated in your story. I agree completely with NHBuckeye above, it's gone from a meat grinder that molded an unbreakable, mentally tough team together, to a country club. It shows in every aspect of how big game loses have gone recently.

Agreed 100% with what was said above about Stroud having some open routes in the medium area (10-20 yrds downfield) all game long. Seems like that has been the case all year honestly. From where I was in C deck, you would see it almost every time we threw from gun that there were options. There's a reason we still talk about Craig Krenzel even though he wasn't the most talented dude. Sure, CJ seems like a nice enough dude but when it comes down to it, he always seems to hesitate just enough. I never once have seen him with any fire on the sideline when the team is struggling. You aren't there as a qb to be everyone's buddy. You're there to lead, this goes for Day too. If you ask any of Urban's guys from 12 and 14 if they liked him during summer ball and through the year, they'd tell you he was on them constantly and that they were terrified of them. But you bet your rear end they loved him standing as champs at the end of the year. That's my biggest gripe overall, leadership... When the going gets tough, the tough get going. You can talk all year long as you blow out less talented teams about competitive stamina and being tough, but when it came down to it, you folded just like you have done in all of the big game loses. Quit talking about it and be about it.

Utmost respect to Tommy... Dude is an absolute animal out there from sideline to sideline. Great technique, eyes and instinct. Been a long time since we have got to watch a dude attack, lead and impose his will like him from the mike spot! Excited for his future. If there was a guy to point to and say to my kid one day, "play the game like this", he absolutely fits the criteria!

I keep reminding myself of the Indiana game in 2014... There were plentyyy of bad things to talk about that stuck out, but the positives were there as well. Adversity can be a very good thing for a team, and I see us facing it a lot more than last year, with no bad outcomes so far.  Tommy is an absolute machine from sideline to sideline, along with Steele and that could make a VITAL difference against that team up north and corum, especially if the dline can keep them from getting to second levels (JT, Sawyer and Harrison should have a field day with JJ as well). Cj putting that rpo look on tape too could be a huge point later on. Yes, we need to be more dominant in the run game, absolutely. Why Ryan refuses to switch up looks for the run game and show something from the gun or an ace look with some trap/pulls more often rather than that pistol/power with rossi (not saying it doesn't get the job done) is very interesting. Here's hoping he's just putting the team in spots to test them on purpose and showing Harbaugh bad tape to look at. We'll see come the last Saturday of the month. Head down and eyes forward boys, few more to go! #GoBucks

A good buddy of mine is a trainer for Akron's football team and said that being in East Lansing a few weeks back with them was more depressing than being on Akron's sidelines for the 0-12 year... Take that for what it's worth. Beat Sparty.
