Not sure what you were getting at but you take that shit back about The Cleavers.
Tipp is awesome.
We enjoyed occasionally beating you guys.

JK! Sorta.
PS. 1978 sounds like forever ago.
And while I'm PSing... just between us Miami/Montgomery county types... I think we are going to kick the living shit out of the shoe stealers.
Yep. Not sure of the mechanics of how this photo was chosen... maybe it was an intern, etc... but it's not 11W best work.
The photo tells an untrue story.

It's simple, UMASS wants everyone to be accepting of anything.
And to prove its point, UMASS is not going to be accepting of Libert... wait, what?
Nice piece!
Next week... 3rd and 2s!
Zero to do with that shithole. They get a pass.
Go win the damn thing!
This house is 100 percent with you!
There's mandatory recycling??
I always assumed Kim wrote Gigantic about her time in Boston. But maybe it was her time in Huber Heights.
No. No Dillon. No. Not yet. Not yet.
Was this place actual or virtual?
Love the Out-R-Inn. Back in the day Columbus zoning was hostile to patios that you could drink or eat at... so the Out-R part was really appealing.
My second most vivid memory was a pool game upstairs that turned into a fight between my pool partner and one of the guys we were playing against. Not that uncommon but the other guy produced nunchucks (sorta popular at the time) from his pants! I was content to just let them have next damn game at that point and LEAVE THE BAR but the tough mf-er I was with took off his leather jacket to block the nuchucks and waded in. I was like, wow. Amazingly no one got hurt. Both backed down when both realized that both were freaking insane. My friend with the leather biker jacket is now a chiropractor. What a world.
HEY SOUTH STANDS... O - H !! Is organic. And cool.
Getting shouted at by a fool on the value city sound system... HEY BUCKEYE FANS... OOOOOOOO - AAAAAACCHHH!!!!!! Is a sterile corporate con. And decidedly not cool.
Why should fans make noise when the fool and the "programming" is always louder?
Too bright, too loud, too cheesy, too big, too hard to navigate tickets. To bad because we are a basketball school.
Like ticket prices, gasoline has gone up in price. I don't mind the expense so much because gasoline is pretty awesome, like live games. BUT I do mind being harangued by a recorded message on the gas pump to come in and buy a McSlurpy. It's just human nature to avoid the unpleasant.
The B52’s are fabulous. If you judge them by a novelty hit that record execs released to put them on the map during the mainstream musical wasteland of the late 70s you’ve not really done your job. Private Idaho, 52 Girls, Dance This Mess Around… and the next few albums… all fab.
But maybe you prefer their contemporaries, Kenny Rogers, The Village People, etc… there’s no accounting for taste. Feel free to spin you some Donna Summer and Little River Band tonight. They also are not punk rock, more new-wave, although Kate did a scorching duet on Candy with Iggy. A big hit when I did alternative radio.
Love me some B52’s! And always handy in separating out the squares. :)
True. They are probably just happy with the uptick in their grub hub tips.
IF the the meatchicken fan was clever (I know, I know) he would have stuck an M where JT picked up that first down.
And little slices of pizza at kickoff spots.
Cat Fight!!
That's what a part time head coach will get ya.
Upvote for the Thirsty I mention. And yes, those were the best gyros outside of the Plaka!
I saw the most frightening bar fight ever out back of Thirsty I. Beer muscles VS future MMA contestant. AND DOWN GOES BEER MUSCLES. Dude did a roundhouse kick on beermuscles 9 years before Roadhouse movie.
Love me some Neil! Lots to say for a censorious fella.
Technically yes. But the direct line path to the VC through the Oval made it a LONG trip if you got thirsty. The Out-R-Inn walk along High Street had sights to see and optional stops to make so it seemed closer. Plus, why not give the Out-R-Inn some love, since it also still exists. I think.
Aloha Jimmy! Where are you?
Being of the South Campus ilk, we were always more fond of places over thataway (Mamas, The Oar House, Out-R-Inn, Mustards), but hooray to the VC for still being there! Congrats!!,
