I have been fence-sitting on him for some time, I am leaning in a definite direction now.

But they will rave about Texas A&M recruiting and how NIL is a mess at Ohio State, despite the fact the former has won a total of 5 games, yes 5, with that historic class, with 7 players in the portal.
I am not convinced much changes while Gene is around, unless 1000 fans at games is commonplace.
I had to smirk a bit to see the odds higher for McCord over McCarthy, not that it means much. Made my day!
Hello, Newman
I agree that Holtmann is not a good tactician at all; he is a decent recruiter, big man limitations aside, and that's a huge miss. Who scores when Sensabaugh leaves? Defense, what defense? Holtmann is the head coach, the buck stops with him on all fronts.
Great attitude doesn't make up for everything, but without it, you have little to nothing.
I just don't see what Gene Smith sees in Holtmann.
Sam was gassed after this run, and 84 on the Ravens (I believe Andrews) showed some real speed. These big guys anymore can move! I was painting a room in my house yesterday with this game on in the background. Needless to say, I didn't get a whole lot of painting accomplished.
For selfish reasons I wanted him to stay, but it would have been the wrong decision as a top 10 pick. I look forward to you tearing up the league CJ!
Go Buckeyes!
I just can't see what Gene Smith sees in Holtmann.
Go Zen!!!
Hartline is gone within a year or two to be the OC for a different team otherwise. I'm not concerned. There are plenty of coaches with experience that still suck, and Day isn't one of them.
This was the only way to keep him around a lot longer and he can continue to learn under Day. He's earned it. Frye can focus on OL recruiting and development and continue to build necessary relationships.
He's more than ready, shouldn't be a shocker to anyone. Will be a great pro. Good luck Paris!
I was at the gym while the title game was playing on the monitors, and kept thinking TCU doesn't belong on this field, Refused to turn the game on once home after halftime, but read more than a few of the Michigan fan posts about how they beat us at our house without mention of TCU. They have a valid point, and we have to take it for another year. Have to beat TTUN.
Day rode that horse all the way until the last 30 seconds, then hopped off. Big tactical mistake. A chip shot for Ruggles and we wouldn't even be talking about Knowles' defense.
Georgia vs Ohio State was the national title game. Looking forward to 2023!
Tons of weapons,m. The OL is what I am concerned about, especially if Wyler leaves. It all revolves around the trenches.
Michigan's total yardage for that game was 327 yards (Google is your fiend). That means Michigan totaled 327-290=37 yards for the remainder of the game. The math doesn't add up, and even at 327, is still far better than our putrid effort.
Agreed.
How is it that Iowa's defense is so much better? Phil Parker is a genius, not a 'mad scientist'. Maybe Knowles defense is too complicated and too predicated on high risk, high reward. Is defense that complicated?
I would not be surprised to see some freshmen with considerable playing time, not just mop-up play, in 2023. It will most definitely be an interesting year.
I know some very odd men and women. I don't know Harbaugh, but he strikes me even more odd.
Stover needs another year. CJ is ready to go; would be absolutely shocked if he stayed. Top 5 draft pick.
