Agree, but Troy Smith would be hard to pass up.
The question in my mind, if he was replaced in Oregon [21], TTUN [21], TTUN [22] and Georgia [22] with any of the mentioned QB does the team win.
With T Smith wins most of those games.
J Fields winst most of those games.
JT Barret maybe half those games.
Haskins maybe half those games.
If he played in those games like he did in the Rose Bowl and UG then the discussion is different.
He was not only hampered by the defense but the play calling as well. Not sure what changed from 2019 to this year offensively.
This is coming from a place of being nieve. Outside of the obvious, when did long snapping be such a specialty or has it always been that way. Does the NFL have the same ? A center and a long snapper ? Can't one do both ?
if Ohio State could have gotten closer to the end zone on its final drive to give Ruggles a more makeable field goal
May be just me but we were aggressive all night up until that series I think we seemed to change
SMH
The point I was aiming for was that although terrible calls, they were called a targeting and very similar to one that was taken away from us that was not called.
Too soon. Almost everyone similar to the hit against MHJ. and CALLED !!! Maybe the betters knew the refs ?
Recognize the name obviously but am unsure of his body of work. I am game for any coach that take this offense to a whole new level and can make in game changes to attack quickly.

STOCK SOARING
Javon Bullard: The sophomore safety was named the Defensive MVP of the game after coming up with Georgia’s most pivotal play of the night, a bone-jarring hit that separated Marvin Harrison Jr. from the ball in the end zone and left the Ohio State star sprawled out on the turf. The Buckeyes settled for a field goal and Harrison Jr. did not return to the game, leaving the Ohio State pass game lacking punch the rest of the night.

The state of Ohio, at the moment, doesn’t allow players to earn revenue off their name, images or likeness, one of only a small batch of states that still need to make a shift to permit NIL deals.
Huh ?!?!?!
I could not stand at one end of my backyard and kick it over the fence at the other end let alone between two poles.
I was at the ROSE BOWL. Childhood dream made GREAT by your kick. THANK YOU NOAH !!!! Once a BUCKEYE always a BUCKEYE !!!!
The BIG Conference and Gene need to respond. This is NOT acceptable. This is blatant neglect.
Mr Warren hang up the phone with the Bears and address this now.
I had confidence that we would be in a position. If you would have told me CJ would run, we would be beyond midfeild, and 2 TO's I would have like our chances. The 3rd down play we had EE open in the middle but the up the middle rush colapsed the pocket and CJ could not get the pass off.
And we NEVER know who in the booth is reversing the play, their qualifications or if they are even neutral or unbiased.
The expectation for what a defense should do in this day is much different, not saying our defense was acceptable. But the new norm is changing, exactly what that is, is something I can't describe well without getting it disscected to death. But all teams in the playoffs had good defenses including TTUN. The game has changed. If we had UG defense all year we would have ran through the BIG, yet we shredded that defense last night. The expectation at minimum is not to give up big chunk of plays. A 76 yard TD should never have happened or the 5 against TTUN.
Got a link ? 100% Agree !!!

Dear CJ,
Thank you for prooving me wrong. Never dislilked you as person was frustated at times with your play which seemed conservative whether by your design or coaches design, it led to some tough losses.
Thank you for representing BUCKEYE nation well last night and although the record is what it is at least you led with your heart,
Thank you for putting the words we all got tired of hearing and showing where we wanted, on the field.
Although a few plays go are way, not ones by the refs, we win this game. We will always remember your part. Once a BUCKEYE always a BUCKEYE.
Thank you for competing at such a level and leaving no doubt about your character.
Not that it matters but you won this BUCKEYE fans confidence back with your play.
Wishing you a successful NFL career if you play in the league as you played last night.
GO BUCKS
