looks good Eddie here's my take:

1. Stroud... top 5 pick and should be QB1 but they will go with bama guy and CJ will make them pay for it in the long run. I think he goes to Houston at #2

2. JSN.... His injury kept him from being a top 5 pick and has too many people questioning him going in the 1st round. I think the guys in Houston will get it right and take JSN at 12 to match in up with CJ kind of like Burrow and Chase with the bungles.

3. PJJ....  He is maybe the top OT in football and the Bears need a LT to protect Justin... I think that they trade down to carolina who needs a QB desperately enough to give them a ton for the top pick and then da Bears can take PJJ at #7. if not they can make a trade with Washington and get a starter and several picks for the #16 pick where they can most likely pick up PJJ.

4. Harrison... I think he is a mid 2nd round pick unless he runs a 44 at the combine and then hes a 1st rounder. Hell even if he runs a 4.5 he will probably get in 20-32. Didn't quite pan out like the mob wanted to but he was a solid player for us and I wam glad he is a Buckeye.

5. Jones... man this guy is going to be a beast and I hope its with the Browns. he needs to slim down to 330 and he will be able to move like a blind side tackle should. He will still be able to be a road grader and destroy players in the run game. I guess it all depends on how the OT's move in the first round. The draft is funny, you will get a run on players and they slide up from rd 2 because gms get scared they wont be there. I say round 2 to the Browns because we are going to get Payne in FA this offseason. We can trade wills to Miami so he can protect his left handed QB Tua Tagovailoa at RT like he should have been playing all along.

6. Wypler.. I think Luke goes in the early second round because he is as solid as they come and last year the ratbirds used a 1st rounder to take Linderbaum from Iowa and he led the OL like a champ. The center is the 2nd most important offensive player on the field next to the qb and Luke is a consistent cerebral player that will excel at C in the nfl.

7. Cam Brown... He had too many injuries to warrant talk of day one or two, but his athleticism and speed should get him drafted by round 5 or 6. if he puts up crazy combine numbers then he might sneak into round 4 possibly late 3.

8. Hickman has the skillset to make it in the league, but wasn't consistent enough to get drafted in the first 4 rounds. I think he goes in round 5 somewhere. He will fit someone's system and make us proud.

9. Vincent.... Man I kept waiting for him to explode off the screen and dominate and it only happened in little spurts. He is a solid guy that could have a 5+ year career, but he needs to really kick ass in the shrine bowl to enhance his draft status. I say late 5th round pick

10. McCallister... He is a coach on the field and older than most nfl rookies so he could be able to absord the playbook and learn the system a bit faster than normal. He's a great athlete and hsi coaches will vouch for him all Day Long! I think round six suits him and he becomes a starter in the first 6 weeks of the season

11. Ruggles.... damn it man the kick!!! the kick!!!! ok after getting that out of my system, I feel like his body of work deserves a draft pick. maybe not until the 7th round but he could slide in and get scooped up in the 6th.

12. Cage... if he balls out in the Shrine bowl I think he could be #12 in the Buckeye draft class of 23. Look to see him in the 7th round and maybe get the last pick and get to enjoy the Mr. Irrelevant festivities in Newport Beach for the week!!

UDFA's... Mitch Rossi, Bradley Robinson

wow stant.. have you ever played football before? JSN was WR3 in 2021 and outperformed Wilson and Olave whom both are up for rookie of the year awards with over 1,000 yard seasons. That alone makes him a first round pick.

You can't teach a guy to play when you are already at this level... You either have it by now or you don't, that's a ridiculous take. You can however teach speed. I had a workout with the Toronto Argonauts back in 95 as a TE at 6-5 and 270. I ran a 4.97 40 and had never trained for the 40... I just got in a football stance and took off. A couple years later in 98 (when I actually had an agent and a facility to train in) I was trained by a sprinter/decathlon athlete that played in the NFL too. We trained so many different things that I had never even heard of and I got my 40 time down to 4.7 at 265.

Granted Harrison is a really good player with unbelievable athletic skills so he is going to go probably mid round 2 based on his body of work. With that being said if he runs a 4.4 at the combine he will most certainly get into the 1st round, but Al Davis died what 11-12 years ago so he's not getting a top 10 pick for running fast but he will be a 1st rounder.

Gutter this is the one!!! Thanks to gene we went to a useless bowl game with a 6-6 record only to lose to florida... If gene would have self imposed the bowl ban that would have sufficed for the ncaa and we would have been 13-0 with a NC in 2012/13 in Urbans first season. We would have beaten ND by 30+

I had that exact conversation with my dad. Who are the people in the replay booth? Are they hired by the network showing the game? are they paid by the NCAA to be there and keep with the spirit of non biased third party?

I haven't tried to look it up but it came to mind...

First game I have watched all season and I was completely impressed with our team until the inbounds pass. How does a 5th year senior spaz out and try to do a Larry Bird no look pass when all he had to do was turn left, dribble and run? That was completely inexcusable and after reading comments someone said he should never be in the game during crunch time and I wholehartedly agree.

I question coaches use of the time out at the end and the play that was drawn up was total shit. right at 5 seconds Thornton could have driven the lane at edey and he would have stepped forward to shut him down... by this time Sensabaugh could have faked right and blew by # 25 and had a clear opening for a bounce pace and a layup to put it into overtime. We win the game in OT

brutus16, I sent a slow mo video of the kick to a couple of friends one was a kicker in the NFL and one was a punter and holder in the NFL and both said Ruggles stepped inside too much. I asked them why he didn't have any leg follow through at all.... it didn't go much higher than his knee level.

my buddy that was the kicker went on to say that  His plant foot lands too far past the ball and too close as well. His only choice is to wedge it, that's why there isn't any follow through. His hips are actually stopping his leg

my buddy that was the holder/punter added on after watching the slow-mo he agreed and they were both no no’s for a kicker. same with punting, if you step “inside” your line…  your body will naturally compensate, and you will pull/hook it left.

None of us were blaming the loss on him at all. I did have to say something when I kept seeing people say it was the snap or the holders fault for the miss... not at all.

We had one of the best playcallers in the country as an OC Kevin Wilson, BUT we never got to see his talent or the full talent from our offensive players because Coach Day continued to call plays. Now we no longer have coach Wilson on staff and he decides maye he should be the CEO of the team? I love you coach Day and hope you are the coach until you retire, BUT this should have happened 3 years ago!!

Who do we get to replace coach Wilson? that's the million dollar question

Nail on the head.... After the stupid run call on 2nd and 5 I yelled at the TV not time to start Tresselball now DAY!!!

no shit the tv official doesn't have a clue either. He said that Harrison was defenseless but didn't say there is a 15 yard penalty with that one... douchebaggery from espn all around. tv money is all that matters and if their sec teams are ranked higher or in the nc game then they can make more money selling commercials end of story.
