looks good Eddie here's my take:
1. Stroud... top 5 pick and should be QB1 but they will go with bama guy and CJ will make them pay for it in the long run. I think he goes to Houston at #2
2. JSN.... His injury kept him from being a top 5 pick and has too many people questioning him going in the 1st round. I think the guys in Houston will get it right and take JSN at 12 to match in up with CJ kind of like Burrow and Chase with the bungles.
3. PJJ.... He is maybe the top OT in football and the Bears need a LT to protect Justin... I think that they trade down to carolina who needs a QB desperately enough to give them a ton for the top pick and then da Bears can take PJJ at #7. if not they can make a trade with Washington and get a starter and several picks for the #16 pick where they can most likely pick up PJJ.
4. Harrison... I think he is a mid 2nd round pick unless he runs a 44 at the combine and then hes a 1st rounder. Hell even if he runs a 4.5 he will probably get in 20-32. Didn't quite pan out like the mob wanted to but he was a solid player for us and I wam glad he is a Buckeye.
5. Jones... man this guy is going to be a beast and I hope its with the Browns. he needs to slim down to 330 and he will be able to move like a blind side tackle should. He will still be able to be a road grader and destroy players in the run game. I guess it all depends on how the OT's move in the first round. The draft is funny, you will get a run on players and they slide up from rd 2 because gms get scared they wont be there. I say round 2 to the Browns because we are going to get Payne in FA this offseason. We can trade wills to Miami so he can protect his left handed QB Tua Tagovailoa at RT like he should have been playing all along.
6. Wypler.. I think Luke goes in the early second round because he is as solid as they come and last year the ratbirds used a 1st rounder to take Linderbaum from Iowa and he led the OL like a champ. The center is the 2nd most important offensive player on the field next to the qb and Luke is a consistent cerebral player that will excel at C in the nfl.
7. Cam Brown... He had too many injuries to warrant talk of day one or two, but his athleticism and speed should get him drafted by round 5 or 6. if he puts up crazy combine numbers then he might sneak into round 4 possibly late 3.
8. Hickman has the skillset to make it in the league, but wasn't consistent enough to get drafted in the first 4 rounds. I think he goes in round 5 somewhere. He will fit someone's system and make us proud.
9. Vincent.... Man I kept waiting for him to explode off the screen and dominate and it only happened in little spurts. He is a solid guy that could have a 5+ year career, but he needs to really kick ass in the shrine bowl to enhance his draft status. I say late 5th round pick
10. McCallister... He is a coach on the field and older than most nfl rookies so he could be able to absord the playbook and learn the system a bit faster than normal. He's a great athlete and hsi coaches will vouch for him all Day Long! I think round six suits him and he becomes a starter in the first 6 weeks of the season
11. Ruggles.... damn it man the kick!!! the kick!!!! ok after getting that out of my system, I feel like his body of work deserves a draft pick. maybe not until the 7th round but he could slide in and get scooped up in the 6th.
12. Cage... if he balls out in the Shrine bowl I think he could be #12 in the Buckeye draft class of 23. Look to see him in the 7th round and maybe get the last pick and get to enjoy the Mr. Irrelevant festivities in Newport Beach for the week!!
UDFA's... Mitch Rossi, Bradley Robinson
