Agreed.  Not sure I buy it, but just something I saw over there, with other posters kind of vouching for the guy as having some info on a few other things early on before it broke.

Poster on MGO said he used Harbaughs email account to email recruits, presumably without Jims knowledge.  According to other posters, said poster has hit on a couple other things which makes them think he/she has sources.

There’s a big drop off traditionally when you get outside of the top 5 I believe.  Someone has to be 6, 7, 8, but it doesn’t mean they’re any closer to #1-#5 than they are to 20-25.

Yea...but he could've just waited on signing his NLI...he still signed it knowing it was being pulled.  If you went to buy a car/home, and were preapproved for a certain loan/rate a month before settlement, then the bank called 2 weeks from settlement, and said we can't give you that loan anymore and can't tell you what we'll be able to do right now, just trust us...would you still buy the house?

1-specific to the OL which is what you referenced, they've won the last 2 Joe Moore awards as the top OL in the country.  Sherrone Moore is doing work up there and it's OK to acknowledge he's a good coach who kids want to play for.

2-Maybe their recruiting hasn't been the greatest which allows for a quicker path to the field than what the Buckeyes are offering up front.

No...I just think it will lead to a separation of the top 30-50 schools to create their own division of football, and allow the rest who can't compete in this new era to play in a lower division.  Then there will be a commissioner of sorts to help regulate those top schools.

Why?  NIL can't be used to entice a kid to come to the school, even though it is being used for exactly that.  He signed his NLI.  If that was the only reason he signed (likely is) then I think the NCAA should make him go to UF.  It would be an example of what not to do for future prospects.  Might help some of the shit that's going on now.

Exactly.  This offense is who they are going to be as long as Harbaugh is there.  They tried Speed in Space...it failed miserably.  They know they can't recruit the athletes they need to run a modern offense, but they can load up on TEs, RBs, and OL.   If he wants to go somewhere to hand it off 50 times a game and throw it 15, then that's his place.

But they didn't give it out...they didn't have it to give and/or changed their minds.

I agree.  The NCAA needs to hold him to his commitment.  NIL is clearly stated to not be used to entice commitments...even though it's clearly being used as such, so the recruit doesn't really have a leg to stand on.  It's like a drug dealer calling the cops to report his drugs were stolen.
