Awesome to see his loyalty, but with people like Carter transferring over, and Styles coming of age, I don’t see a place for him in this defense barring significant injuries.  It’s time for the “new guard” to emerge in the secondary. I can’t handle another year of missed tackles and 90 yard pass plays.

Ok. Let’s play this game.  I’m going to screen shot this so we can see who has the more productive career. CJ Hicks or Caden Curry. The fact that you just guaranteed Curry is better than Hicks just proves why people shouldn’t start drinking in the morning

Well Bull, it’s called the spring transfer portal. He might not want to sit this entire year. That’s what I’m trying to say. This defense was shredded in the games that mattered the most. It’s time to turn loose these 5 star guys and see what they can do

This guy is a generational talent at LB. don’t expect him to sit behind Steel Chambers and “wait his turn” for another year. This defense was atrocious all season.  It’s time to see what what these younger guys can do. CJ and Sonny better be playing significant roles in this 2023 defense. It couldn’t possibly get any worse!

Go ahead and vote me down, but he abandoned Buckeye nation. Not saying he should have played through his injury, but he could have at least stuck around instead of leaving for California to “rehab”. 

This right here! ^^.  I’m so tired of the assumptions that the upperclassman get the next shot just because it’s “their turn”. As bad as this secondary was this year, we better be giving some of that young talent a chance to shine.

I have been replaying this game over and over in my mind. I just keep thinking of all the “what if’s”. Not one single time did I think about the missed kick. It hadn’t even crossed mind until now. Nobody is going to remember that game because of a missed kick. We will remember a lot of other things- But definitely NOT a missed kick. Good luck to you Noah!  (And Mom) :).  

That was my first thought as well. We have some VERY good young talent that will be pushing these veterans for starting positions next year- Especially on defense considering how poorly they played.

By “improvements” do you mean giving up 500 yards of offense in our 3 biggest games of the year?

Open your Eyes Buckeye Rob.    Jacksonville just dropped the biggest truth bomb you’ll see on this page. Like it or not. We gave up over 500 yards of offense in the 2 biggest games of the year. How else would you word it?

I’m not going to call you stupid, but when you have 4-5 star recruits running all over the defensive side of the ball, and giving up 500 yards of offense, then… Yea. The problem is ABSOLUTELY coaching related!!  Open your eyes man. 

Is anyone else getting tired of hearing that “Jim Knowles needs more time” to “install” his “scheme”?  Why the hell are we playing a 4-2-5 scheme when our DB’s can’t turn around and look for the ball without falling down?!  Please just give me someone with half a brain that knows how to run a vanilla defense. That’s all we would have needed to beat Georgia last night. Instead, we get to watch Knowles “install” the defense again next year. Unbelievable
