Will the football Buckeyes be loaded on the OLine and secondary positions? "Asking for a friend."
What's hilarious to me is people are *just now* pressing the panic button LOOOOL
I can't believe that was almost 7 years ago. I remember that game well.
Well, I think expecting the offense to have to score more than 41 points to win because of your abominable defensive coaching is retarded, so that makes us even.
The way the last two years have gone, wake me up when it's the last game of the season.
At least everyone will forget about 41-14 now.
True.
Seriously there's no way in the world anyone can convince me that Knowles didn't cost them the last two games and a NC with his reckless defensive calls. It's one thing to be aggressive and another to just give it away. Even just a slight regard to his players' skill set and we're lighting up cigars Burrow style tonight.
10 yards away from a national title. There's no way TCU beats OSU. JFC
LOL agreed
How is it possible that in both major sports, the coaching staff is out coached on a regular basis?
It's another Holtmann special... awesome
LOOOOOL every team will do this to them until they fix it.
Lots of standing around without the ball prior to the foul shots.
LFG!!
Noah Ruggles was a solid FG kicker in my book. He had never made one from 50 or more this year, so to put him in that situation with so much on the line wasn't fair.
37 of 41 is pretty damn good. Thanks for the great career, and for the game winning kick in the Rose Bowl.
This is the worst thing I've ever seen in sports. I hope he's going to be OK.
Thanks for the upvote. I have to say, the wizard fight between you and Dumbledore during OOTP was amazing, but far too short.
Tom Riddle, I'm surprised you referred to God, as you refer to yourself as the Dark Lord.
Hoody, you forgot the /s tag...right???
Best of luck, Terajada Mitchell. Buckeye for life regardless. I hope you get playing time.
Sigh...
OK Chief, did the referees cause Lathan Ransom to fall down and give up a TD? Did the referees interfere with Burke when he got beat for the go ahead TD? Did the referees interfere with Ruggles when he was kicking the potentially game winning FG at the end?
The referees have no influence on the performance of the players. That's up to them.
Game changer or not, there wasn't a damn thing OSU could do about the bad call with Harrison or *any* other call. Is complaining about it going to change anything at all? NO
If you're going to complain about the officiating, it means your team isn't good enough to win. Period.
And with this comment, this is my final word on this ridiculous topic.
Nobody mentioned it because there was no muffed extra point. 5 TDs, 5 extra points, and 2 FGs equals 41.
Complaining about the officiating is like screaming at the clouds. It's not going to change the results of the game, and the officiating will continue with the same standards. The bottom line is, your offense has to score enough points, and the defense has to prevent enough opposing scoring, to win in spite of the officiating.
All the whining and crying in the world isn't going to change it, and it makes you look like a sore loser.
See: Miami and Michigan. We all know the calls I'm talking about.
OSU didn't lose that game because of officiating. They lost because the defense was non existent in the 4th quarter, and the offense could only muster 3 points. It is what it is.
You're wearing scarlet and grey colored glasses. It was clearly a first down from every replay shown. Hell I thought it should've been reviewed after watching it live when I saw his hand hit the turf. Even from the live view, he obviously had the distance required.
