There's no way in hell that osu has better talent than rutgers. They have the most athletic team in the big. Not the best, the most athletic.

I put osu's talent at 8th-9th in the big. But md. may have a bit more talent. Talking about top 8 players on each team.

In order; not including injuries. like iu now has two starters out.

pu-will fr. guards hold up

iu-up and down but 2 starters out, if they come back will it be too late

msu-can play well-inconsistent but talented

um-coming around, didn't play hard in preseason

ru-most athetic team, most defensively in tune team, decent offensively

ia-inconsistent but injuries have hurt development

il-playing below talent level, but dainja is a load-sometimes,

md-since they beat osu, talent is similar, they play like they don't know each other

os-avg. talent, avg. team, have a lot of work to do to get an 8-10 seed

nw-surprise team of big, poor coaching, talented guards, buie is a wild card

wi-typical wi team, but poor offensively, a top player has been out

ne-better than last year but not good

mn-good coach, can't get recruits, portal here we come

I don't mind getting into the ncaa every year. That's something that hasn't always been the case. Unlike most on here I appreciate how hard that is to do. Like o'brien had the temerity to say, if it's titles you want, follow another team-like duke.

If an osu coach can say that, imagine their frustration with how hard it is to do.

I really don't know what people expect, duke and kentucky with their no.1 recruiting classes don't do it very often. It like y'all don't realize that there are 13 teams, soon to be 15, then 19 or 20 teams that won't win a big title. So why do you feel so entitled, that you deserve one? Or that's it's the only thing that matters?

These teams play really well most of the time, something that can't be said historically. They play really hard too. I appreciate good bb, and they've played that in every game but one this year. There's not a team out there that isn't going to have a few clunkers over 30 games. Hell the fb team with all of their 4 and 5 stars hasn't won a title in the last two years. Maybe that's why yall are frustrated with osu bb.

He was stating the obvious, while probably thinking of how the game played out, without zed, who wouldn't have gotten moved off his spot nearly as much. And that would have changed how they played the 3 point line, since he wouldn't have needed as much help against 7.4

So in a 1 possession game, it wasn't as much of what okpara did or didn't do, as it was how much the game changed when the guy they wouldn't have to help as much became unavailable. Defensively it changed the game immensely. Okie is a good defender, but they had to help him so often, it left the 3 pt. line wide open. That wouldn't have been the case with zed in the game, they would have rarely doubled.

Think of how many times okie got pushed under the basket by edey. In the first half alone they got 10 offensive boards, you can't rebound if you are standing under the basket.

Maybe he was just saying damn, if we could have stuck to our game plan, we could have knocked no. 1 off and stayed undefeated in big play. While stating one of the reasons, that didn't happen.

What you just said without saying it is, edey gets guys open for 3 pointers.

It's too bad a frosh had to battle him most of the game, key may not have needed a guy digging most plays. That would've helped on the three's.

If they had shot well? They shot 11% over their season avg. on 3's. Turned us over when needed, yep once. Other than that they had twice as many to's as osu. So was it just bad luck with ball handling for them and good defense for purain't? People sure see what they want to see don't they?

It's funny you credit pu's great defense, like they could get stops when they wanted. Yet it was a one possession game. That's some great defense right there.

For you and all others that are just dying for all of that information-just what exactly would you do with it? Let's say she has a broken bone in her foot, how exactly would knowing that help your day to day life? Would you send her flowers, study up on broken bones in the foot so you'd know exactly how long to expect her out? If you are smart enough to know that it's none of your business, why can't you just accept that as fact?

But...if you have kids, I'd like to know all of their medical history; broken bones, hospitalizations, surgeries, etc. Might as well put out what their gpa's are as well. Did they go to college? I'm sure everyone will sleep better knowing information that is none of their business.

If you are a good enough fan to watch all of the games, you'll know just like the rest of us, when she's back on the court. Osu might even slip up and mention when she's practicing again.

VB sueing did panic, he's not used to being in that position, nor should he be. Kinda reminds one of his behind the back pass in the oral roberts game, it turned that game too. Laissez-faire!

Thornton did the right thing, he stayed back to receive the ball at a good passing angle, sueing just made a really bad pass. If he'd have run up to where the ball was thrown, he'd have been trapped by the defender that picked the ball off. If sueing had thrown the ball to him instead of a spot, he'd have had room to move in any direction.

I don't know who thinks of him as a point forward or a press breaker, I don't see it-at all.

H said he's not redshirting hardman. Historically h. doesn't redshirt players. It's hard to say why but maybe the chance of a player being at a school 5 or more years is so slim. He would have been a perfect candidate to redshirt-if he would stay 5 years.

Etzler is the other end of redshirting, he's no. 11 on a team of 12, will he stay 5 years and make redshirting worthwhile? He most likely won't see any meaningful time until years 4 and 5.

I bet izzo has more losses now than he did when thad coached too. Not that it matta's that they have two more conf. games now. I'm sure each fanbase thinks those should be 2 more wins, despite the conf. being much deeper than ever before. It doesn't matta now but 10 days ago, the big had 13 teams in the top 80, first league to do that.

The conf. will be much easier to win when the pac 10 joins. Hopefully Az. gets an invite maybe that'll get the big over the hump for a natty.

20 wins became the standard for a reasonably successful season, when they played 27 games and didn't have conf. tourneys. 20-7 was almost a .75 winning %.

Then winning 20 games for a major league pitcher was a pretty good standard as well.

So 20 wins became a standard by which things were judged pretty successful.

BUT when a team plays 35-40 games today, 20 wins is pretty pathetic % wise.

By the same standards as yesteryear a 35 game season would have to win 26 games.

But for some reason 26 doesn't have the same ring to it-even though it's the same %.

Might as well dumb down sports as well.
