I got issues too after a fall down the stairs. Had a MRI and they told me today the good news is your BP is great but your back isn't. Poor balance and numbness and the left leg is not stable all the time. I stuggled at the Iowa game in the Shoe and St.Johns.
Glad to hear Knowles name brought up.
He should wait they may be getting banged by the NCAA something we can use for leverage.
After seeing him I doubt related to Gordon Lightfoot
A tad off topic all these visits what happens when a recruit comes straight out and says I'm looking for the big money? What can coach Day do or say after all the other sales pitches are similar from other schools like relationships etc. I admit not the sharpest knife in the drawer and not understanding NIL totally. If we are not going to spend on a player you would almost have to say thank you for your time good luck and move on.
Wypler was 6/3 300 according to our roster on here. Mick will work his magic to get him stronger.
Coming here next week must be taking the Gray Hound to CBUS woof woof just kidding
Reply button is fixed I agree moving people around sucks sometimes with chemistry. You weaken two spots instead of one.
Depth and a shot to be our center since he favors the inside and might not have the long arms needed more for the tackle position? We don't know for sure but o line could be worse than we think or a rash of transfers down the line? I think James was next in line for the center position. Played guard in high school from one of the better Cincinnati programs if I recall. We are beating the bushes but has experience which is more than we can say about most of the current players on our line roster..
Never here too much of Knowles being any place or have I missed it. Very intelligent man with a weird sense of humor makes me think he would be a great recruiter. This year it may turn around.
He has never had a Heisman winner but still gets the credit and well deserved of being a qb guru. So if he is packing up stats which we don't know for sure it's not working. Day is risking injury to his qb and reps for his backups of the future. OMO the Heisman is a bogus award to begin with. QB's have won the Davey Obrian and lost out on the Heisman. Each position has an award of being the best and the Heisman is not always the best player in that year. Day has also said in pressers the risk of Stroud running the ball yet he keeps him in the game to long I feel just a thought.
It could be for everyone not named Hartline.
My response went to the correct person above me.
The oline stayed in too long and the backups could have had more reps also. I think he truly went style points and padding a qb's stats. Respect for the game is not running up the score on a team that quit at half time.
Your right there are no sure bets even with the ones that committed for that matter. I feel Marshall will go to another school and he wouldn't be on my list. The real reason for this crazy talk is people want him so bad and I'm going against that. OSU wanted 3 DE's that were high on the list last year too and didn't get them either.
I mentioned before I watched a 10 year old qb. this year throw passes 40 yards right on the money. His father had to be a qb at one time he did everything right and smooth. The bad was a couple were not caught.
He is not a sure thing that's why I wouldn't have him on my list. Another crazy down vote for predictions. LOL There is no one that can land correctly all the players in the 24 class. If you can go buy some lottery tickets you have a better chance.
Agree I usually play along and have my own sheet here at home but may not do it this year. Last year I had more misses than the team. Keith has a nice list and I would go out on a limb and add one of the top OL products from the Big Board and switch out either Wheelwright or Satterwhite. I feel Frye second time around may have a very good haul in 24. Wheelright has been talked a bit so he could stay possibly. I think we get a Georgia TE too the game with the Dawgs may have opened some eyes and they can't get all 4 of the Ga. offers. I'm not sold on Marshall either we keep offering more rb's I think11 to date. They might not be sure either.
Just throwing this out there. You really don't have to be fast at qb but when they give you space take it. Cardale Jones was neither fast or mobile but got it done. I think Day told Stroud to not run?
There is only so much entertainment money to go around for families to spend. Ohio is a small state with Cleveland and Cincinnati to close to Columbus to have an NFL team. Even the Bengles I bet have many folks from W.Virginia and Kentucky support them who have no NFL teams. I say no
The importance of landing quality offensive lineman was mentioned that there are more 3 stars then 4 and 5 stars in the NFL. Going off of this 24 class they have 45 listed 4 star lineman and no 5 stars. Which means that would be a tad over one on the 32 NFL teams and you play with 5 lineman. So imagine the importance it is in college football to recruit when you have over 32 teams in the B10 and SEC alone. So getting players like the Armstrongs not so bad when both are top 40 lineman. Rankings are not 100% but another way to view recruiting that position. fwiw
If they let him out it will open another can of worms. To me it's no different than a coach leaving. When you signed up it's not always everything you thought it would be. First mistake was going to a school you really didn't want.
I think they have a handle on it we seem to worry every year about the 85 and never have an issue. When push comes to shove if need be someone will be told your welcome to stay but you will not play one down.
No NIL for him he collect's social security can't double dip.
