On the day the Buckeye faithful celebrated the 100th anniversary of Ohio Stadium, Miyan Williams made a little history of his own in the historic building. Williams' five touchdowns in the 49-10 stomping kept the Buckeyes perfect against Rutgers in the Shoe and provided the opportunity for 14 members of the 2022 class to hit the field.
Turner the sack man
Even though Ryan Turner is from Hollywood (Florida), the cornerback probably wouldn't have scripted his first career tackle with the Buckeyes being a sack.
With just under six minutes remaining in the game, Rutgers faced 2nd-and-three from its own 21-yard line. Turner was able to blitz from the left side and take Evan Simon down on the 15-yard line for a six-yard sack. The stop was key to ending Rutgers' last meaningful possession of the game.

Stokes makes a stop
Kye Stokes expected to play against the Scarlet Knights, but found himself on the field a little earlier than expected. Tanner McCalister left the game in the first quarter due to an undisclosed injury and Stokes entered the foray.
On Rutgers' first drive of the fourth quarter, Evan Simon handed the ball off to Johnny Langan on what appeared to be a read-option. Langan sprinted to his right and found himself getting dropped by Stokes for a four-yard loss.
The tackle for loss was the first for Stokes with Ohio State and the fourth tackle of his career. Stokes was also on the field for Rutgers' lone field goal and on the kickoff team eight times.
Hayden for the win
Like one week earlier against Wisconsin, Day called upon Dallan Hayden to run out the clock against the Scarlet Knights. The man from Memphis ran the ball on all six plays of the Buckeyes' final drive. He had carries on nine of Ohio State's final 12 offensive snaps and finished the game with 28 rushing yards and a long of 15.
Fielding keeps on kicking
Although Parker Lewis was finally cleared to play for the Buckeyes this past week, Jayden Fielding was still called upon to handle all of the kickoffs against Rutgers. Of his eight kicks, three were returned for 61 combined yards, three were fair caught and two went through the endzone for touchbacks.
Rest of the class
Kojo Antwi played six offensive snaps and was on the kickoff team three times.
Devin Brown was at quarterback for Ohio State's last six offensive snaps.
Jyaire Brown saw action on 13 defensive snaps and four times on the punt return team.
Kaleb Brown played six snaps at wide receiver and was on the punt return team three times.
Caden Curry was on the field for 13 defensive snaps and was on the PAT team for all seven tries and once on the punt return squad.
C.J. Hicks recorded his first tackle and met his cardio requirements by participating on the kickoff and kickoff return teams a combined 11 times and three times on the punt return unit.
Kenyatta Jackson played six defensive snaps and was on the punt return team once.
Hero Kanu picked up two defensive snaps.
Sonny Styles saw action on nine defensive snaps and was a participant on every kickoff, kickoff return and punt return play.
Tegra Tshabola played 12 snaps at right guard with the second-team offensive line.
The Buckeyes hit the road for the first time next week. With the current play of Michigan State, several freshmen could see action in East Lansing.
Under the NCAA's redshirt rules, a player can appear in up to four games at any point throughout the season and still count it as his redshirt year. Through the fifth game of the 2022 season, 17 of Ohio State's 21 scholarship true freshmen have seen the field, with one – Curry – now ineligible for a redshirt as he has appeared in five or more games. Fielding, who is not on scholarship, has also burned his redshirt by playing in five games.
