Ohio State's offense hasn't performed to its usual standards on Saturday, but the defense has in every way lived up to the title of the Silver Bullets.

Tommy Eichenberg's pick-six was the most crucial play of the first half. The fourth-year linebacker intercepted Iowa quarterback Spencer Petras with under four minutes remaining in the second quarter and returned it to the end zone. It was Ohio State's first defensive touchdown of the season and put the Buckeyes up 26-10 at the break.

Ohio State's offense and special teams were not without their moments, either. Miyan Williams continued to be a force in the running game and scored a touchdown from 2 yards out in the first quarter. Additionally, first-year defensive end Caden Curry made a critical tackle when Iowa attempted a fake punt near the end of the opening frame and Jesse Mirco's only punt was a beauty that downed Iowa deep within their own territory.
