Guy was playing out of position…with coaching & the resources The OSU has to offer I see him getting better playing on the interior.

You would think cornerback play would improve due to the defense practicing against the best WRs day in & day out. Buckeyes have a problem at Corner & we will be exposed for it in a big game coming up. The offense being so well rounded will save the day

Defense is developing very fast…just have to stay healthy at this point. It’s been a lot of injuries this already this team is showing incredible amount of depth. Zach Harrison would be terrific inside. Harrison & Hall would be a great duo with Sawyer & JT on the outside. The linebackers bring consistent pressure when they blitz. Worried about the corners on our team. Brown our senior leader is always hurt. Burke our star freshman from a season ago is playing bad & showing no desire/fire. This football team has a long way to go.

Sonny Styles is the future best safety Ohio state has had in a long time. To only 17 years old n with elite size 6”4 215. the maturity to come in during summer & be pass guys on the depth chart 4-5years older than him. Anytime I’ve seen him on the field he jumps off the screen. Elite length plays Downhill & very fast. Sonny will be an all American & top draft pick before his career at OSU is over. I’ve watched a lot of great ones at OSU & he’s destined to be another one of them.

Elite first step a trait you look for in a pass rusher. He will be a standup pash rusher in the NFL. Can’t wait to see what he does the next 2-3 years!! future is bright on the D line

Last seasons debacle on defense was due to the coaching being incompetent about the game of football & playing defense. There are little league coaches who could have coached that defense better. Knowles has taken away the thinking coaching these guys up. Now when they are on the field they know what to do. Guys play a lot faster when they know what they are doing. Last year it was too much thinking involved & no adjustments.

Coaches know if proctors loses the starting job he could shut it down & be done for the year. Transfer portal keeping him engaged & starting bodes better for the team.

Love the adjustment by Jim Knowles first drive. Proctor had a major whiff on styles causing the big play. Knowles was done after that drive it was all Ransom. I personally believe ransom is better for passing & proctor would be better for goal line/ short yardage situations. Love how the coaches are playing the best player & not the just the oldest players. Our best Dlineman are Mike Hall, JT, Sawyer, Tyleik Williams. Larry Johnson needs to give them the reps so they can be ready for December/January. Eichenberg looked great last night he & Mike hall were our defensive mvps. 

Hope this kid gets the help he needs. OSU has had a lot of former players do a lot dumb stuff in the past few years. It really puzzles me these kids go in the real world & spiral out of control like this. 

Senior film was impressive truly believe he will one day be the starter after Trey Henderson leaves. 

The starting d line should be JT,Tyleik Williams, Mike Hall, Zach Harrison (Sawyer at Jack)…I think Larry Johnson has too much loyalty to the older guys (Cage, T Vincent, JPB, Friday,) Play the guys who will develop thru the season & become great not just average/good

Very telling to the public CJ stroud said that about Marotti..last years team was not tough. It showed in the snow against the wolverines in Ann Arbor.

Future is bright at Dline. No offense to the older guys but they need to play the younger guys more JT, Sawyer, Tyleik Williams, Caden Curry, Mike Hall. These guys are going to be great players. The young guys are being held back by the older players. Who I believe have hit there ceiling as players. Z Harrison is the only older guy who needs to play in my opinion. 

Kid has to lose more weight he is very liable to get blown by guys who are fast off the edge. NFL speed is next level compared to cfb. Jones will be alright once he loses more weight which will help with this footwork.

Never seen the flashes or the potential with cavazos. Looking at the other corners physically they were more developed. He has a smaller frame not much muscle in the legs. Watching him play last season was apparent he lots of work to do. 

WR has become THE position at TOSU…pure greatness coming out of that room. Olave, Wilson, Jamo 1st found this season. JSN 1st round next season. Harrison Jr 1st round the year after. This trend/run at great WRs just starting.

Interestedly to see who ends up winning the job. Could see Melton the former LB getting the job he’s very athletic 

The loss of DaVon Hamilton & Tommy T was truly the main reason the interior D line struggled. Average fan that just watches the game wouldn’t understand how big of a impact those guys had on the defense. One of the reasons the D line unit struggled last year was the lack of size on the inside. Garrett & T Vincent are not big guys. Tyleik Williams will be the key to the D line. The edge rushers especially Z Harrison does not have the same explosiveness off the edge like Chase young or the guys before him. 

This Offense has potential to be the best buckeye offense ever. Can’t wait to see what the depth chart looks like. Where will Babb play at?

I think eliano & Tim Walton bring elite coaching to the defensive backs. Both guys have impressive resumes. Ryan day in my opinion found the best guys for the job this offseason. I truly believe a lot of the new hires will only be here for a season or two max. Happy Ryan day made these hires. Coombs was a great corners coach. However, barnes, al Washington we’re all young coaches who didnt have the knowledge like Eliano, Walton or Jim Knowles. Ultimately the losses this past season will help the PROGRAM in the long run. These were changes that should have been made after the alabama game. I know day secretly regrets not making the changes than. 

Tyreke Smith will be a steal for a team if he was to fall to the 6th round. He has very quick fast step twitchy. His get off at the senior bowl looked very fast. He will be a better pro player than he was in college. Becoming a stand up pass rusher is better suited for him. Tyreke struggled at the point of attack & protecting the edge. With proper coaching in the NFL he will be outplay wherever he’s drafted. Jonathan Cooper fell to the 7th round & he finished the season as a starter. 

I think the “draft experts” are doing too much thinking when it comes to Olave. He doesn’t have the best size or top end speed. However, he runs crisp routes with elite pass catching ability. He has shown for years on tape he can excel against “elite” competition. Around this time of the year is when “decision makers” start over thinking & don’t trust the film when it comes to certain prospects. Olave is a case of this his film is elite but his athletic #s & slim size will cloud a decision makers mind.
