That really depends IMO. If Watson is the franchise QB they think he is, no one will care what they gave up. If he isn't, what they gave up will certainly hurt bad.

Here are there stats for this year (CMP-ATT, YDS, CMP%, YPA, TD, INT, RTG). Without looking tell me which is which and why one is a potential 1st round pick and the other is a late round pick/UDFA?
A. 185-283 2,406 65.4% 8.5 19 10 151.9
B. 226-351 2,822 64.4% 8.0 24 7 150.5
Nah. By the end of the Matta era we had a shortage of scholarship players
How many scholarship players did we bring back from last year? Two?
The Browns can into the NFL from the AAFC. Maybe that’s what you were thinking of.
Not only that but they want the offense set back 20 years to the Dave era because we don't run enough. "Passing is too finesse." Too many people would rather have Walrusball that than 5 star QBs and WRs
Not saying I want to change the offense, but Bollman has more NC’s and Heisman winners than Day currently.
It could , but it will never happen unless it’s the Browns or Bengals moving.
There's no cities that support both a college team and an NFL team, at least at OSU type level that I can think of
Ann Arbor is only 45 minutes from Detroit.
As a Bengals fan, I've thought about bringing Indy into the AFCN and kicking Baltimore out.
Bring back the Titans!
I grew up in Cleveland and now live in Dayton. I happen to have grown to quite like the City of Cincinnati. I’m never going to root for the Bengals though and am indifferent to the Reds.
Yes, the Browns have that great old AFL blood in them (the fanbase, championship history and tradition
No they don’t. The Browns were never in the AFL.
When the new Browns were created, that's when I was indifferent to the Browns and their fans. The same as I am today.
That’s because they have generally sucked.
Ohio is the only state with multiple teams that has them all/both in the same conference. Having them in the same division is just silly. So who do you move?
Why does anyone need to move? The idea that this is a problem, but wouldn’t be if the stadium was across the river in Newport is silly.
the teams vying for his commitment include OSU, South Carolina, Tennessee and Arkansas.
The weather difference from Savannah to Ohio is two different things.”
He isn’t coming here.
That was some terrible football. Cincinnati is going have to play much better to win again.
Wow, she is short.
Boss has always played somewhat undisciplined.
Yeah, 8-5, 10-4, 6-2, 10-3 last 4 years would cause Columbus to crater to the core
I don’t think that was because of the defense.
Fair point, haha.
It's interesting looking at some of the talent that Tressel recruited to the QB position. Smith, Zwick, Pryor, Miller.
Yes, but the 2014 version of JT, before the Michigan injury, was his best version.
JT's stats from 2014 and 2017 are awfully similar.
Krenzel (Tress...he would never have been recruited by Day).
He wasn’t recruited by Tressel either.
3 QB's- Haskins, Fields and Stroud. All very different. All played extremely well under Day's guidance/development.
Throw '17 JT in there too.
#6 Tennessee should be ranked ahead of #5 Alabama,
Yes.
#17 Oregon State should be ranked ahead of #15 Oregon
Maybe, yeah.
#23 South Carolina should be ranked ahead of both #6 Tennessee and #13 Clemson #18 Notre Dame should be ranked ahead of #13 Clemson?
No. You can't wipe away all your sins with head to head.
Can he handle a press?
But, yeah, let's boost up Penn State for Allar while knocking down Ohio State for McCord and Brown. Give me a break. It's time for people to put some respect on McCord and Brown's names.
Come on. You know the difference, and it has very little to do with Allar, McCord, or Brown. It's because Penn St. is replacing Clifford as QB, who is fine, and OSU is replacing CJ, who is a two time Heisman Trophy finalist.
