I wish Cutler nothing but the best. He has a great opportunity to grow and learn and be a part of a Brotherhood that becomes stronger with each addition. Welcome!

I love the comments on recruits. Most kids are like a fart in a windstorm and y’all are trying to say which direction it’s headed. My 15 year old told me the other day that she doesn’t like carrots. 3 hrs later she’s heating up some soup and putting carrots in it.
I’ve no concerns on our ability to continue to recruit and bring in and develop talent, no matter which way the wind is blowing.
Go Bucks!
Hope he lands somewhere that he will be supported and nurtured in what could very well be a great NFL career. I for one am glad that he was our QB1 these past two seasons. I’ll not hold it against him that he did not have a defense that could help him deliver a Natty and a couple pair of Gold Pants. Good Fortunes CJ, enjoy the Journey.
Good Stuff. He can use another season under Jim Knowles learning his system. The kids had multiple coaches over his tenure with little consistency. I’d like to see Coach Eliano work on his footwork as this is where I think he struggled in getting burned for a couple big scores this past season. He may just not be the guy to leave on an island, but I do believe that he can help provide leadership and depth to a room that is relied upon heavily in our scheme.
Unfortunately todays game was a familiar script. Two yrs ago with NBA talent on the team and we can’t get it done. Same last year and now we seem to see things playing out again. His teams have too many turnovers, don’t suffocate on defense, can’t break a press, don’t have any creativity on offense and seldom produce after a time out. Holtmans a good guy and can recruit but he doesn’t seem to be able to get the best out of them.
Theres no shame in moving on and no one has to be hateful about it either. I’ve enjoyed Genes tenure here at THE. He has done really well throughout the program bringing in folks that can develop fine, respectable young men and women. And most of those coaches do so and have winning programs too.
I would love to see Chris Holtman succeed here, but it just has not worked out. It would not hurt the program to part ways and bring in some fresh blood.
Go Bucks.
“I got a lot of problems with you people and now you’re gonna here about it.” FC
He was recruited based on his athleticism and run blocking. If he isn’t our next starting tackle, I’d see him as a good fit at one of the guard spots. Getting a year as a starter at guard and then moving outside may benefit everyone. Time will tell.
Watching his film, his length stands out. He has a big motor and is a bull coming out of his stance. A couple years ( months) under Coach Johnson and some technique and this kid could become a big part of future defenses. Good on him for developing himself over the course of the last year to earn that kind of praise from Johnson too. I love Predator Sequals!
Is there a game on tonight?
Good ball movement, decent help side defense, awesome rebounding, forwards forwarding, guards guarding and McNeal draining 3s. The salve that calms the wound.
Good on ya Mason.
in response to those that lament the decisions of the young men that provide us with Saturday entertainment, we all make decisions that we feel our best for us when we make them. Sometimes they pan out other times not.
With all that said, the Grass is only greener where you tend it.
46 years of supporting this team…. I’m proud of the effort that everyone put out there. These fools……
You’re a fool
I feel bad for Noah. He has been clutch for so long. No reason to hang their heads on this one. To all you haters out there that think they are fans of this team….. go check yourselves. Proud of these Buckeyes.
Doesn’t look like he’s slept in 35 nights. I know I’m champin at the bit, I can’t imagine being one of the 85 waiting for the coin toss. Boot to ball, let’s Go Bucks!
Oh I factored in Defense. I gave ours 2 scores in my scenario.
Suffice to say We (class of ‘91), THE, OSU Football has enjoyed a rich history of greatness on the Grandest of stages in College Football for Decades! This Team will write its own history today and may the sporting gods be willing, continue to do so on the 9th. But no matter the outcome, we The BuckeyeNation will cherish every moment of the experience as I know that all on the field will fight for their Brothers and come out victorious. Embrace the moment as it is fleeting. Go Bucks, Beat Them Dawgs!
Win and Cover 38-31
Run for 100
Egbuka YACMan
How about a JT tip pick for 6 and add in a strip fumble for 6 more Lightning strikes twice!
MeatChicken wins close. I’d rather they lose but redemption would go along way for the Natty.
416 for the win!
Go Bucks!
The play of our Safeties and LB’s will be key in keeping the ball in front of them and getting the ball carrier to the ground. No more big plays for TDs. Up front we know we can get pressure and get to the QB but we have to contain Stetson or he will stretch plays out and hurt us by extending drives. Otherwise it’s all about mental discipline and trust. Trust yourself and in your brothers to make plays.
I am so juiced for this game. Go Bucks Beat them Dawgs!
Good on him. He did seem to have a really high ceiling when he came in. Sometimes things don’t always go as planned, but I hope only the best for this young man. THE offers so much more than just skills on the field. He should have all the tools to succeed elsewhere.Fly young man and know that you always have a place to call home.
Amen to that. KY was able to stop GA from reaching the red zone and settling for FGs early. They stuffed em on 4th and Goal from the 1 in the 2nd half. Buckeyes have shown they can be disruptive to the QB and defend that last yard. We also have what Bama had on Offense last year to put up the points to pull ahead and stay there.
Trust and Discipline will win this game. CJ especially needs to trust what he sees in front of him and strike with consistency. Day cannot allow the perfect to get in the way of the good and simply call our game and quit allowing the Dee to change what the do best simply based on the look. Run the ball, pass for position and keep them honest by taking the top off of it when the opportunity reveals itself. And Knowles hopefully learned that with the talent we have on D we do not have to sell out to make a stop.
If we play 60 minutes of football we can come out on top.
Give Bucktown a break, he is a Browns fan after all.
Run CJ Run!
Eichenberg on D
CJ can lead this offense if he is willing to sacrifice.
The Team respects Kam Babb.
Discipline and Trust will bring victory.
