The sample size of 5 years is a good measure in most every sport. I would say this year is not over by a long shot but losing games and not adjusting what is clearly going on or not going on in this case on the court is an indicator of what is most likely coming down the road. Mediocrity.
At Ohio State, Holtmann is the Eldon Miller of this generation. Same guy just 40 years difference.
Joe Bauserman has entered the chat....
After several years, I can't believe I am asking this.....
Yea, but can he run?
The Golden age of Ohio State Football. Oh those years of top flight recruiting. The non stop pummeling of the team up North. The run of a quarterback for important first down after first down or that needed touchdown. The constant and noted hate of while at the same time, love of the head coach. The hypocracy of those writers on this site with their pompus arrogant opinion of how that head coach did this to offend them while in the same story heapin praise on the institution of winning and dominance. Yes, I remember when the Buckeyes were a magnet of love for all those who came to this site. Fear not. You must always remember that it is darkest before the dawn my Scarlet and Gray family. This Golden age is just begun.
I just stopped in to see Knar take a kicking to the head. Love ya brother.
Here is an all American 2 for the list.
What the hell is a “tier 1A team”?
a team that hasn't beat its rival Michigan in 3 years....
No Quarter coach, I am routing for your recovery.
Heather Dim-witch is as sharp as a bowling ball. SEC shill at ESECPN. Look, 11-0 is 11-0 even with Ref help against Bert. That is hard to do now days.
Strip Trip club....
Little tounge in cheek comedy never hurts anyone. I am the biggest supporter of our run game.
Wow. Just wow.
He see our run blocking?
Michigan at this stage of the season just has to come out and manhandle our O Line like it did last year. It is quite evident that we are lacking in the run game and we are going to have to do better then trick plays to beat them. Play calling and getting the backs rolling over the next two weeks should be the #1 priority. I see it happening.
While the running game may be considered average at this point in the season, I think they are close to being ready to bust out. Let me explain.
1. We have evidence on film that C.J. Stroud will run the ball. This is a legit concern for any DC when watxhing film. They must now account for him (if he runs more then 5 times early).
2. Our offensive line has been less then dominant in recent weeks and has an apparent lack of toughness. I don't see this as the case as much as I see a lack of cohesive marching plan. It is clear that the lack of immagination in play calling puts the line at risk to assault during running situations and a commitment to ground and pound using QB runs and play action will promote line domination into the second level.
3. Injury management. So far this season we have RB's being held back because of being banged up. While it is true we are thin at the RB we are getting close to having the RB's getting back to getting used to reps and finding a rythem. This will help the O line as well because they have a working knowledge of what these backs will do behind their blocks.
I like our chances coming up.
Then again I could be wrong.
In a word. No. The only game that matters is the team up North. Beat them sons of bitches and everything else takes care of its self.
2.1 yards per carry in 7 of the last 8 quarters on 49 carries. O line has got to get tough. Michigan, Georgia and the like will not be soft at the end of the game. 12 3rd downs with an average of 8.7 yards to go at PSU. Not being able to run the ball will get us beat against beter teams. Get better and get mean O line, we have three games to fix this.
Destroy the toilet bowl
Blow it up
Done that this morning......
Ground and pound in the wind is the order of the day. However, JSN gets a couple Of TD's and Henderson runs for 200.
Buckeyes show no mercy on an undermaned Mildcat team. Buckeyes 62 Mildcats 0
Mikey Gow?
Program wise, I haven't ever disliked Clemson or their fan base like I do Notre Dame. I can say that after extensive research that Dabo is Swahili for Douche Bag
